Student Body: I have only started school a week ago, and I'm also taking online classes. One of my childhood friends just recently got her bachelors degree at Stevens Henager College. She took both online and campus classes. She loved the school and I never heard her complain about the other students.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been great. My academic advisor is the best. She is very professional and makes me feel at home. The school is unique because everyone is very nice and professional. They have quite a few programs to choose from and explain everything very well. I am so glad my boyfriend made me go check out other schools before choosing which one I truly wanted to go to. I will never regret choosing Stevens Henager as my school.

Online Courses: The instructor I have for my course is amazing. She responds quickly and explains things very well. Peer to peer interaction is really good for being online. My instructor gives us assignments where it is mandatory to comment on some ones discussion. I currently only have one course, next week I will be taking 2 free courses, math and English. I am very excited and I am sure I can handle the workload just fine. I love the tutoring feature. I am so glad I chose to work online. Having kids and being a home maker would be very hard if I was going to school on campus. I am also having some health issues I am trying to diagnose, so when I feel sick I don't have to drive to the campus.

Facilities: I did go to a few different schools and review the different programs each one offered. I went to Everest College first. This is where I truly thought I was going to end up. They don't have very many programs and the building I would have been going to was very small. The people were very friendly, in fact a girl that I was friends with in high school works there in the financial department. The program I wanted to take was only from 6-10 Monday-Thursday. I am a single mother with kids so this frustrated me, but I was going to make it work. My boyfriend told me to go check out other colleges just to be sure that Everest was the college for me. I then went to Eagle Gate College, I made it very clear that I just wanted to know what programs they offered and how much it would cost me. They offered some of the same programs I looked into at Everest, but they were more money for the programs. This was a deal breaker for me, and also the one program I really wanted to take at Everest was no longer at Eagle Gate. The 3rd school was Stevens Henager. They are more professional than anywhere else I went. They have a lot of programs to choose from, probably over 2 times as the other schools. The Murray campus is very nice and everyone there is also very nice. Stevens Henager gave me the option of working online. This made me very excited and happy. I have not once regretted picking Stevens Henager as the school for me.

Campus Resources: Since I have just started school I have not had a chance to actually use any of these facilities. Although I do plan on using them in the future. During my tour I was shown where everything was on the campus. I am an online student though, so I won't be using it as much as other students. They do however, have all the same resources online.

Campus Resources: Like I said I am an online student, not to mention just started school. I have not used any computer labs, or printed anything. I am not sure how there speed or wireless access is. They are giving me a laptop to use at home. I should be receiving it within a few weeks. I do wish they could have given you the laptop before school starts to make sure you have a computer to work from. Once I have graduated the laptop is a gift to you from the school.

Career Services: I really wouldn't know much about the quality of the career center or alumni network. I was given a list of employers that work with the school and hire people who attended the school. I know that there are people at the school who help you write resumes and I look forward to working with them. I plan on working with them in a few months so I can attend school and work at the same time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Natalie is the name of the financial worker who helped me. Natalie has been very helpful and nice. She has answered every question I have had for her in a way I would understand. I know school is very expensive, I also know if I do my best to get online every day to apply for financial assistance it will help my odds greatly to receive a scholarship. I will not give up on getting scholarships. I believe in my heart that I deserve it. That is my advice for anyone who says they don't have the money for school. Get online and start applying for scholarships, and never give up!

Academic Experience: I only started 6 days ago. I am very excited to learn about my major though. I am majoring in business management and accounting. So far my workload is amazing. I am taking a couple free courses to brush up on math and English. These particular courses start next week. I am hoping my workload won't be too bad. I am an online student, but every time I have gone into the campus everyone is very nice and I feel part of the school.

Academic Experience: I went to a few schools before choosing which one to attend. I honestly had my mind set on going to another school before I went to check out Stevens Henager College. I was told about the different majors I could choose from and we narrowed it down for different reasons. The next week was when my first course was going to start. I got all of my financial work done also. I worked very hard to get everything they needed to register me into the appropriate classes. As of right now I am only taking one course. I am starting 2 free courses tomorrow. They are Math and English courses, just to brush up on what I should already know. I am hoping having 3 courses at once wont be too hard. They have online tutoring that is also very helpful. I have used this once already and the tutor was very nice. I explained to them I was new and didn't even know how to use the program they were helping me in. The explained to me how to do a lot of things when using the program.

Academic Flexibility: The experience I have had so far has been amazing. I am an online student, and only started school 6 days ago. Everything has been explained to me very well. I haven't had problems with anything and I am so glad I picked Stevens Henager for a school.

Campus Resources: There are no athletic centers. There are also very limited activities and most are not for the career field I am going into. Their is one library and it is very small with a limited amount of resources.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: We are given laptops when we first start, and they have computers avaialable in the libraty and the lunch area. They also have printers and a copier in the library.

Overall Experience: I have good experiences and bad experiences. I have had alot of helpful teachers and instructors at my school. But I have had alot of issues with the school. The school dropped me out of my classes a few months ago because they messed up and had to fix it with no penlty to me. They had put to many people in one of my classes and had to split the class up and I had told them I needed to stay in the monday wednesday class and they switched me to the tuesday thursday classes, so they had to fix that which they did not and I ended up getting dropped because no one could say what class I was supposed to be in. I have also had issues with teachers showing favoritism to specific students which is against the rules. What I do like about my school is that it is accelerated so we only take classes for 4 weeks at a time so you get your degree faster. I wouldnt choose my school again because of all the problems I have had.

Career Services: They do assist students in getting jobs in their field of study

Many students at SHU say they would choose their college again if they had to do it all over. There's a good reason for this decision: SHC offers great education and great student incentives. Once you graduate, it's free to return to SHC and take additional classes or retake a class as a memory refresher. Also, if you have younger siblings, they can get a scholarship to attend SHC after you graduate. Stevens-Henager College has encouraging staff members, great students, and many opportunities beyond these student incentives. You can gain licensure and certification in a variety of fields and earn scholarships. This makes it one of the best colleges to attend in the Boise area.
