Career Services: Ok Career Center – I have not graduated yet, but they post jobs on a bulleten board and if you are interested in one then you can go ask career services about it. It seems like a monthly letter is sent out with updates on career fairs and new job openings. They will also help you tailor your resume and interview skills. They also have reinburstments for any certification exams that you past. You have to go talk to them, its not like they are going to come to you.

Student Body: Most Have Families – It seems like most of the people at the school are like 30 years or so and older. A lot of them are coming from their jobs to get certs , degrees, or whatever they need to advance in their career or switch to a similiar job. I have only meet a handleful of peaople at or under 21. The campus in Boise is mostly focused on medical though and I am in Computer Science.

Academic Flexibility: Credits Dont Transfer to Well – They do have day, evening, and night classes. That was good for me since I usually needed night classes. It is relativly easy to switch from night to day and vise versa. There credits do transfer to well chich sucks, but they do accept others schools credits, for the most part. They really could work on giving you classes in a better order. I got stuck in a couple class with a prerequisite that I had not taken. They also seem to switch teachers alot ... like olds one go and new ones come. They do have lots of open labs, tutoring, and help for just about thing you can imagen though. They do give you a laptop, not the best but it is good enough for most classes.

Campus Resources: The resources are available towards the end of your completion. There are a library and several tutorials and webinars for our students.

Academic Flexibility: I have been able to do my course work for the most part when it is convenient for me. The only thing that I don't like is the 4 day a week requirement. It is a little difficult to log in every day if you have appointments or such but there is no time frame to check in at except for the live chats.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Business Administration – I love the program because I don't have to take courses that don't have industry specifics. I also love the fact that I have live elluminate sessions every week where we can ask a live person questions. I also receive a computer to work on throughout the school experience.

Student Body: The diversity is race, color and ethnicity is great. im glad we can all be at school together. We are all just people trying to better ourselves

College Sophomore

Career Services: Career Center – I haven't graduated yet, but I do know that Stevens-Henager College has a Career Center and assists graduating students in obtaining employment.

Online Courses: On-Line Classes – At first, I was a little apprehensive about taking on-line classes. But after the first week, it is easy. The classes are broken into 4-week modules, so the work required is grater than in a traditional classroom. They tell you everything that is due that week, have on-line lectures that are pretty informal. The instructors are available to you either by phone or email if you have a problem. And tutoring is available for those who need it. I haven't had to use the tutoring yet. Time management is a must as well as knowing you way around a computer and Microsoft Office software.

Overall Experience: Happy With My Choice – I really like Stevens-Henager College. The on-line division provides me with the flexibility to pursue employment opportunities that may arise.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: The computer labs and printing are easier to use and they have enough. The network is really slow some days. They give you a laptop to use throughout your program and when you graduate you get to keep it, but getting it repaired if something goes wrong while in school takes forever.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Value of Education – I don't feel like I am getting much for the amount of money I am paying. The classes are very short, only 4 weeks and although I will finish in 20 months I think the school needs to have better teachers who are equipped to teach at the pace we move.

3 College Senior

Career Services: Career Center – Our campus does have a career center. They seem to be interested in someone getting their degree, but they don't take "pride" in helping someone to find employment.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Flexible Schedule – I really enjoy the online classroom. The professors are there to answer questions (24 hr turn around) and offer assistance. What I enjoy is that I can log on throughout the day and weeks to access my work and do it on my schedule (as long as I do it before the due date).

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Ease of Class Schedule – My reason for attending this school was the opportunity that I have to attend classes online and on campus. It has been very nice to attend all my classes online allowing me to do my school work when I can so that I can be flexible at work and be able to be at work whenever I am needed.

Overall Experience: Stevens Henager – havent been there long but overall they are very helpful

Academic Experience: My school offers Medical, Arts, and Business. The professors are very outgoing and willing to assist every student on a personal level. They offer personal tutoring if needed and some give extensions or re-dos on assignments.

Campus Resources: Stevens-Henager College Boise – This college is by far the best college I could ever dream of attending. The level of camaraderie is inspirational.

5 College Senior

Student Body: Most All Work Full Time – Mostly, my school consists of working-class people with full-time jobs or families. They often juggle many different roles in addition to being students. While they are happy to socialize and make friends, this is not a priority. They are getting an education so they can seek a different life or career.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: My Classes Are Intresting – All of the classes I'm taking this semester are related to my major, which is nice because the material is super interesting to me. The workload for a Computer tech., major here is intensive but not overwhelming.
But the cost of school is killing me.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: COST OF TUITION – The education I'm getting is well worth the money I'm paying. I got a little bit of financial aid, which helps, but I'm fine with the expense because I know my degree will make a difference in my career.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: I believe that the career services actually begin before graduation according to the testing and certifications I accomplish during my enrollment. The post-grad career services are guaranteed for assistance to those who want it.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibility for Sure! I know that my school, Stevens-Henager, understands that "life happens" and if at any time I need to change, slow down, or need help/tutoring assistance, etc., I can have it.

5 College Junior

Student Body: Come One, Come All – no need to worry about any disability or any other bigotrythey simply don't tollerate it everyone is welcome

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Job Placement Lab – the best I've seen they'll help with resume writing and help with job placement

Many students at SHU say they would choose their college again if they had to do it all over. There's a good reason for this decision: SHC offers great education and great student incentives. Once you graduate, it's free to return to SHC and take additional classes or retake a class as a memory refresher. Also, if you have younger siblings, they can get a scholarship to attend SHC after you graduate. Stevens-Henager College has encouraging staff members, great students, and many opportunities beyond these student incentives. You can gain licensure and certification in a variety of fields and earn scholarships. This makes it one of the best colleges to attend in the Boise area.
