Student Body: Most of Us Are Adult Learners! Stevens-Henager understands that most of us have families, kids, full-time jobs, etc. that can be obstacles during our college experience. However, the school addresses all these barriers and helps the student body to figure ways to get around those obstacles. ie: Time management, computer issues, etc.

Academic Experience: It Is Absolutely Wonderful to Be a Business Mgmt. Student! I am a business management major and everything at Stevens-Henager has impressed me. They not only work closely with you for all your financial issues, the instructors are easy to reach and approach. They also don't make you take a ton of extra classes that really have nothing to do with your major. The classes are all related to your field of study. Something else that my school offers is the opportunity to come back after I graduate and do any new classes or retake any classes that are within my major for free!! That is unheard of!!! I absolutely LOVE Stevens-Henager!!!

Campus Resources: The campus resources at Steven's Henager College are nice, they have campus activities atleast a few times a month, there is also a library and computers to use.

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibility at Steven's Henager College – The academic flexibility at Steven's Henager College is great, they will almost always work with you on any problems making it to class. And if you need to you can change the time you go to your classes within the first week with no problems.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My school's tuition and financial aid process took a little while to get done, just because I needed to get my taxes done and my school needed all the information, but other than that it went smoothly and there were no problems.

Campus Resources: Class sizes are ver small and teachers are very helpful. Give you a chance to be known by name and not just be a any body.

Career Services: If you've already graduated and still don't have a job, my school will still help you in anyways they can to help you find a job.

Online Courses: I always liked taking online courses because your on your own time to a certain extent, and that makes it easier and less stressful for me. But it's also hard sometimes if you don't get something and so it's not as easy to communicate to your professor and you don't really have class mates to discuss things with. But overall I like taking online courses.

Academic Experience: Small Classes – I love my school for many reasons, but one of the main reasons is because the classes are small, so that makes it easier to get special attention from your professors if you need it, and they are always there for you and will help you in anyway. I love how my school wants to be involved and help you if you need it, they will also help you find a job if you need help doing that.

Tuition & Financial Aid: SHAWN STONE's College Essay – StevensHenegar online is a great college you have alot of support tutors and educators. The are straight foward no BS.They explain everything you need to know about your tuition as well as the financial aid what it covers and what is expected to be paid back. They help you to get extra help when you need. they show you how to use yoour money wisely. With no hidden surprises.

Overall Experience: Love the First Impression – The student to teacher ratio is small which is awesome. Less noise from random noise like pencils tapping and coffers. All of they're courses are in demand when it comes to the work field.

Campus Resources: Basics on Site – Steven-Henager College in Provo isn't fancy, meaning no gym, auditorium, or lunch room. It's not like a traditional college. There is a decent break room with vending machines and library with all the books required for each course and certification. But the learning environment has a small student to teacher ratio. If you need help with anything, the teacher has time. Even before or after class they have free tutors on campus with a flexible schedule. Very student friendly.

Career Services: After you graduate, the school will help you find a job.

Academic Flexibility: Easy Peasy – I chose this school because I live in Tennessee. Their online program is amazing, and I'll be recieving a laptop (for my interest of study) for the remainder of my school year. Since it is online and I am required to log on at least four days a week, I won't have to worry about work getting in the way.

Campus Resources: Helping Students Succeed – I am an online student and compared to other online programs, Stevens-Henager College takes the cake. The mentors and teachers all want each student to succeed and do great. If you need help, you can call your teacher or mentor and they will be happy to help. If you don't want to call them, you can send an email and they'll answer your questions that way.

Academic Experience: Health Care – The school offers a variety of options for certifucation to help us become more marketable in the workplace. They also offer incentives for maintaining good grades, such as reimbursments for certifications.

Overall Experience: Wouldn't Want It Any Other Way – I am very satisfied with my choice in school for my Associates degree. I wanted a program that would push me through and keep me interested at the same time. The classes are hybrid style, which helps me focus on what I need to learn. It also prevents me from getting bored with a subject that doesn't completely get my full attention. The school has opened many doors for my future and the teachers are more than available. I love my choice, despite the high tuition.

Student Body: From the students I've me thus far, I can say that everyone is goal-oriented. We are all like minded people who wants to be successful in life. We are a diverse gropu who respects one another.

Academic Flexibility: So far my experience has been very conveinent. Going to school on-line allows you to log on at any time you like. I don't even have to get dressed up to attend classes. I can stay connected with friends and family all the while attending school at the same time. Saves time and money because I don't have to commute to a campus everyday.

Campus Resources: Free Laptops – My school offers fully loaded laptops to students who successfully pass the first course, which is Intro To Psych. After successfully passing this class, the laptops are given to you to use during your entire time at Stevens--Henager (unless you drop out then they have to be returned) an are yours to keep after you graduate. For example, for thoses who are taking Graphic Arts (like me) you will receive a MAC, which coes loaded will all the programs that you need during your classes. Such programs may include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark Express. This is great because some of these programs have a starting cost of $100 of more. I'd rather save money and get it free.

Online Courses: Time Management – As long as a student possess some type of time management skills, getting through the weekly course is painless. I even manage to get done early and have extra time for myself and family. Peer-to-peer interaction is obtained through classroom discussions and live sessions. The professors that i have are friendly and are flexible when it comes to aiding a student in whatever they need help with.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are very involved in my educational process. Even though I am going on-line, we can communicate through emails and phone calls. So far when i've had a question, i receive a prompt response. Sometimes within minutes. The workload is reasonable. Normally, there are 4 assignments that have to be turned in by the end of the week. They offer many different resources that are beneficial to my success.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Since this is a private institution, i will not receive anything from financial aid. I honestly did not know this when I signed up for this school. Even though a quality education is what I'm focused on, the extra money could still be useful. I believe the cost of this school isn't too much. I can say I'm satisified with everything - so far.

4 College Junior

Career Services: They have a great career services dept. Help in any way they can to make sure you are ready and capable of finding work, as well as often help to find you a job before graduation.

Many students at SHU say they would choose their college again if they had to do it all over. There's a good reason for this decision: SHC offers great education and great student incentives. Once you graduate, it's free to return to SHC and take additional classes or retake a class as a memory refresher. Also, if you have younger siblings, they can get a scholarship to attend SHC after you graduate. Stevens-Henager College has encouraging staff members, great students, and many opportunities beyond these student incentives. You can gain licensure and certification in a variety of fields and earn scholarships. This makes it one of the best colleges to attend in the Boise area.
