Online Courses: Online courses make me nervous, I much prefer on-ground courses. I still managed to get an A both times I've taken online classes.

Campus Resources: We don't really need computer labs since we all get a new laptop in the first term. We have little need of printing, since everything is turned in electronically, but it is available at no extra cost. Wireless access is great.

Campus Resources: As far as student centers go, we have an area with tables and chairs for studying or eating, but there are only vending machines. We have a small library with a librarian who is great.

Student Body: Because of small classes, we really get to know each other. There is real cohesion among students

Career Services: Since I haven't graduated yet, I don't have any experience with career services.

Academic Experience: I love that the registrar mapped out my entire degree program and assigned me to classes. It took the guesswork out of registering for classes. I'm already registered for only the classes I need for my degree, all the way through graduation.

Academic Experience: Since classes are small, I am in classes with others from my degree program. We have been able to study together and support each other and become friends.

Facilities: Since this is a school geared toward working adults, there aren't many extra-curricular activities. I wouldn't have time for them anyway. The school is well-maintained and pleasant.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Sure, it's more expensive than other colleges, but it is like going to an all-inclusive resort. Everything is included. A laptop, books, tutors, scrubs, a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and even a CPR mask. The time and hassle saved is worth the higher price, that and the fact that I'll have a bachelor's degree in only 29 months.

Overall Experience: I love that the books are included in my tuition so I don't have the added expense. It is very convenient to pick up my book on my way to class on the first night.

Academic Flexibility: I am so glad I found Stevens-Henager! I work full time with a very rigid schedule, so the evening classes are perfect for me. The only problem is finding time to meet with a tutor or do clinical work, since I can't be at school during the day at all. I have been able to work out clinical time on Saturday, which was very helpful. I have not needed a tutor yet, but I haven't started my accounting classes, then I'll need one for sure!

Campus Resources: I'm always using the library when I have to due a assignment to do. The student center is a easy way to get in touch with your acadmic counselor.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I didnt have any problems with the financial aid process. I was able to follow the instruction and complete the paperwork without any assistance. Getting the paperwork done early just in case there is a problem is a great tip.

Academic Experience: My professors are very caring. They give live weekly lectures, discussing the current week assignment. They provide assistance if needed. The professors encourage the students to refer to a tutor if is any difficulty with the course.

Many students at SHU say they would choose their college again if they had to do it all over. There's a good reason for this decision: SHC offers great education and great student incentives. Once you graduate, it's free to return to SHC and take additional classes or retake a class as a memory refresher. Also, if you have younger siblings, they can get a scholarship to attend SHC after you graduate. Stevens-Henager College has encouraging staff members, great students, and many opportunities beyond these student incentives. You can gain licensure and certification in a variety of fields and earn scholarships. This makes it one of the best colleges to attend in the Boise area.
