4 College Senior

Facilities: The Facilities are well kept and very comfortable.

4 College Senior

Facilities: We have a very relaxed atmosphere. We are a very small school so everyone knows one another and is very nice.

5 College Senior

Campus Strictness: The school policies are perfect and they custom them to fit everyone.

3 Recent Alumnus

Facilities: The library isn't all that fancy or attractive. There is a new student center which is REALLY nice and attractive.

3 Recent Alumnus

Facilities: It is known for its academics, engineering program and flight program. The facilities are getting better. It is also neat to be able to interact with international students on campus.

Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid this last year.

3 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: The university doesn't have very good standings for sports.

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: At the university that I have been attending this past year, there are many international students. This results in a diverse atmosphere at times.

3 College Freshman

Computers: We have a lot of computers in the library and stuff. I would suggest bringing your own laptop. The internet is VERY slow though, and can be extremely infuriating.

1 College Freshman

Greek Life: We don't have it. I think most people are pretty content that it doesn't exist! We don't need it to have fun! Campbell Hall is pretty much a frat anyways :)

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Not very many people do take part, and the people who do are mostly the athletes. When people take part, it is mostly off campus. Sterling is VERY strict about on campus drinking/drugs, so it is often done off campus if it is done at all.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I think Nurse Connie is amazing, her hours are pretty inconvenient though. When I have had a super sprained and injured foot, it took 3 days for me to catch her in her building.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone gets along pretty great. The girls are for the most part modest and Godly, and the men for the most part are GREAT and gentleman-like. I love most people on campus.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: It's a super cute small town. We have a few big cities with things to do within 30 minutes and an hour away. Most fun things happen on campus though.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Being a Christian college, there are a lot more rules we have to deal with as students. We sign at the beginning of the year though, saying we agree with these rules. The rules don't hinder us having a great time, so people who break the rules are lame and just don't know how to entertain themselves.

2 College Freshman

Diversity: Diversity isn't a huge thing at Sterling. Economically and walks of life, there is a lot of diversity, and I love that. Ethnically, and religiously, not so much. We are a Christian college, so most people are Christians.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus, and I don't desire to. Dorm life at Sterling is GREAT! There are a few houses in town, but those should be left for people who live here in my opinion. I understand people who already live in Sterling should be able to commute if they want, but if you are coming from far away, you should live on campus, it's more fun and less of a hassle.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I think the process of admission was great. You just need to come prepared, and read about the requirements before you audition for the program.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I have a blast! I am challenged every day, and while that isn't always fun, I know it is making me a better musician. The workload is tough, but nothing anyone can't handle. The facilities are out of date due to a low budget, but we make it work! I wouldn't choose anywhere else to study!

5 College Freshman

Academics: Dr. Nix, Dr. Bateman, and Mark Clark are truly amazing. They influence us as students to grow in our passion for music, as well as challenge us in our work, so that we can get better. They do all of this while genuinely caring about us, going leaps and bounds for us, and including them in their personal lives.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Our campus is big on integrity and honesty, they don't feel the need to be in everyone's business to know whats going on.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: The drug scene around campus at Sterling College is very underground and hidden.

1 College Freshman

Transportation: The school doesn't offer any transportation , you need to talk to your friends if you need a ride somewhere.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Our campus is located in a small town so there's not very many options available close by.

4 College Freshman

Academics: My major, business, is a really popular major here at Sterling College. This is really great because it makes it really easy to find help around campus if ever needed.
