4 College Senior

Facilities: Nice athletic facility with swimming pool and indoor basketball courts

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: There are many positive places on campus such as the AARC to study and the library for anything really. But the dorms are just okay, not terrible though. Many facilities are very nice such as the arts buildings. They do what they need to do though and are not bad.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: They are very nice, but not always a ton to do in them, they are not the center of campus for sure, but they are usually sufficient for what they do on a daily basis. The student center can seem small when there are large groups of people visiting, but other than that there are not a ton of people in there except for lunch.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There are not always a ton of police on campus, but if you need them they are easy to get a hold of. I feel safe as a student on campus. I do not think there is a ton of crime on campus, just drinking and parties.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Most of campus is part of the Greek life. I am not part of it and I am definitely in the minority. There is not a ton else to do in town, so there are a ton of parties all of the time.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Sports are not a big part of campus life because we do not have great teams. There is not much school spirit unless a team makes it far into the season.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It was not hard to apply, there were no essays or extra work you had to do. It was strait and to the point. The most important criteria is that you have good grades and put in effort.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I have so much fun in the kinesiology program and it is the perfect major for me. There is a lot of hands on work we do learning how to be active in a fun and in the correct way. Everything I learn is always something I am interested in.

3 College Junior

Academics: Most of the professors I've had were really good and would help you if you asked. I haven't truly had an extensive workload and registration process is easy. They offer many study abroad programs and free tutoring in the library that many students utilize.

4 College Junior

Academics: My major is fairly easy so it leaves time to be social. If you make the right connections, you can get great internships.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: It wasn't that good but it helps if you are someone who is trying to eat healthy.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The facilities are nice and well kept. Everything is nearby so you don't have to walk 20 minutes to class. Academic programs aren't too strenous. Social scenes revolve around greek life and those involved in the party lifestyle. Easy to make friends though. Campus life is okay. Not too bad.

4 College Junior

Facilities: We have a nice rec center where everyone goes to work out.. Library is nice as well. We have some traditions but not much and occasional campus events.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Many opportunities and you can find some good deals. Nothing is more than 15 minutes from campus either.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Our basketball team did well in the NCAA tournament bringing national attention to the university. However, due to the fact our football team isn't very good, athletic interests aren't a big part on campus.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Living on campus is cheap because almost everything on campus is free, including school games. Its a medium sized school and everyone is friendly for the most part. Even though this wasn't the school of my choice, I'm happy with my decision.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Since I am a guy, I will describe the girls. There is a 5-1 girl to guy ratio on campus which is great. The girls look okay for the most part. Some really pretty ones, and some really ugly ones. Many girls on campus can dress. There are many relationships on campus, but also a lot of fraternizing. Picking up girls isn't very difficult either.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: For the most part the campus is extremely safe. There are many bike cops that patrol the school, as well as city cops all over the town. The school has many emergency contact stations outside in case one may need to contact the police. Campus is really safe.

College Junior

Majors: I haven't had an internship. However, all health science majors are required to have an internship to graduate.

5 College Junior

Majors: Health science is one of the bigger majors on campus, filled with nursing school rejects and those uncertain of what exactly they want to do in life. The professors all care very much about their students. In fact, none of the professors have children so their main focus is on the students. They help you find internships and provide students with many opportunities. The facilities are okay and the curriculum is not particularly difficult.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Some off-campus places give student discounts, but not much. Many of the off-campus dining options are popular fast food joints. There are some local restaurants that are okay, but nothing is really spectacular. Nothing is really too expensive though

2 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Stephen F Austin is located in Nacogdoches, TX. It is a small, old East Texas town with most of the town centered around the university. There's not many outside attractions, if any.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Everyone is treated equally. No one gets left behind. They have respect for one another.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Fun, outgoing, a blast to be around with. They help keep each other motivated and keep the compettion high.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Everyone is friendly to one another. You get the feel how it is to be somewhat on your own. I love the recreation center its one of my favorite places to be on campus beside the AG pond.
