5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Professors honestly care about your life and the decisions you've made. They want to see you succeed and will help in any way they can possible.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Internships and job availability is excellent. SFA lists available jobs and internships on and off campus all around the city.

5 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The ways in which SFA is strict makes the school much safer than it could've been.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Nacogdoches has a very friendly, family atmosphere making everybody who is staying or visiting feel welcome.

College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I don't believe a rating can explain the guys and girls at my school. Everyone had their ups and downs so a rating wouldn't be justified. Everyone can be friendly, but everyone can turn around be far from it. It all depends on how you are and what you make your stay out to be.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I received financial aid in a smooth manner, but I did not receive as much scholarship as wanted.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Stephen F Austin does a great job in maintaining and providing buildings for student use and help.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I'm more into service Christian sororities.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Services are located all over campus for these events.

5 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Variety is the definition of Stephen F Austin's Campus Dining.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: The night life is great, but I don't party as much as the average person.

4 College Senior

Facilities: Nice athletic facility with swimming pool and indoor basketball courts

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: There are many positive places on campus such as the AARC to study and the library for anything really. But the dorms are just okay, not terrible though. Many facilities are very nice such as the arts buildings. They do what they need to do though and are not bad.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: They are very nice, but not always a ton to do in them, they are not the center of campus for sure, but they are usually sufficient for what they do on a daily basis. The student center can seem small when there are large groups of people visiting, but other than that there are not a ton of people in there except for lunch.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There are not always a ton of police on campus, but if you need them they are easy to get a hold of. I feel safe as a student on campus. I do not think there is a ton of crime on campus, just drinking and parties.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Most of campus is part of the Greek life. I am not part of it and I am definitely in the minority. There is not a ton else to do in town, so there are a ton of parties all of the time.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Sports are not a big part of campus life because we do not have great teams. There is not much school spirit unless a team makes it far into the season.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It was not hard to apply, there were no essays or extra work you had to do. It was strait and to the point. The most important criteria is that you have good grades and put in effort.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I have so much fun in the kinesiology program and it is the perfect major for me. There is a lot of hands on work we do learning how to be active in a fun and in the correct way. Everything I learn is always something I am interested in.

3 College Junior

Academics: Most of the professors I've had were really good and would help you if you asked. I haven't truly had an extensive workload and registration process is easy. They offer many study abroad programs and free tutoring in the library that many students utilize.

4 College Junior

Academics: My major is fairly easy so it leaves time to be social. If you make the right connections, you can get great internships.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: It wasn't that good but it helps if you are someone who is trying to eat healthy.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The facilities are nice and well kept. Everything is nearby so you don't have to walk 20 minutes to class. Academic programs aren't too strenous. Social scenes revolve around greek life and those involved in the party lifestyle. Easy to make friends though. Campus life is okay. Not too bad.

4 College Junior

Facilities: We have a nice rec center where everyone goes to work out.. Library is nice as well. We have some traditions but not much and occasional campus events.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Many opportunities and you can find some good deals. Nothing is more than 15 minutes from campus either.
