Overall Experience: I have really enjoyed my time at State Fair Community college and the exciting atmosphere.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: The teachers are very understandable about the classes and courses online.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Sometimes the wireless can be very slow.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are several resources on campus.

Career Services: I actually am already enrolled in a program through UCM that is a dual-entry that sends all of my classes to UCM when I graduate so that I am already a UCM student just taking my associates at State Fair.

Academic Experience: There are several options for different academics offered at State Fair Community College. I really think it helps that as a school we are linked to four-year schools so that the advisors can guarntee that all of the classes will transfer past the associates degree. Also they offer a wide-range of classes that are cheaper here but go for the four-year schools.

Academic Experience: I have loved the education program at State Fair. I really love my advisor for my degree and she is also one of my teachers for my education class.

Student Body: I have made so many new friends this year especially coming to a school not knowing anyone I have made lots of friendships that I can see lasting years to come. Most people I have met here are very open-minded and makes classes and campus life very excited.

Academic Flexibility: I have loved all of my schedules that I have made through State Fair and they have been great when things have came up.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think that there should be some extra help at the bookstore since it is a community college.

Facilities: I really like going to State Fair Community College. I am from the city and so it has really been a really great experience to move to a new town that is only an hour away. It has been a great home away from home. I have enjoyed almost all of my teachers a lot. Since it is a smaller school there is plenty of help so I am never left clueless even with the little things which has always been very nice to have accessable. There are also plenty of fun activites like free movie screenings and I have even dressed a pig for time at our spring fling. We also have an amazing theatre program that put on a lot of different shows and mini events throughout the year.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The campus used to be a mall so the architecture and decor is very unique.

Online Courses: I took my public speaking and social work class online. You can tell that the professors truly care about the students and are passionate about what they teach. They also have great experience.

College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have not had to transfer any credit yet but I think that it isn't very hard at my school.

Student Body: This college is more of a convenience so most of the students are accepted no matter what. This makes some of the general classes frustrating for me because some people are slower to pick things up but I appreciate that I can use my A+

here and I will be challenged more at colleges when I pursue a higher degree.

Career Services: One of the best things about State Fair- LOZ is that they share the campus with CMU. You can take classes from both schools at the same time at the same campus or online. It's great for getting your degree accomplished as soon as possible.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Registering for classes is easy and can be done online by yourself. The curriculum generally follows the book and is all covered. Lots of options for students with special needs in the classroom.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The teachers for my psychology classes are mostly fantastic! They have so much experience and information to give. The classes overall are not very high maintenance and pretty manageable. Facility is small but nice.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There are many different people that are of different ethnicities.

Campus Resources: For sports teams you have to go to the main campus. The student centers are very nice; we have a waterfall and surrounding the waterfall is the study center, computer lab, and classrooms. The sound of the waterfall is very peaceful and really helps me focus on my work. There isn't a tangible library at this campus but you can always log on to your mystar account and look up what is available at the main campus library. If you are in need of a book they will send it down to this campus for you.

Campus Resources: The computer lab is rarely full, but if it is there's a few classrooms full of computers that you can use. Printing is very easy and very cheap. The network is fantastic; there is a site called Angel that sometimes goes down (I've never experienced issues with it, but it is mainly used for online classes), but they will soon be switching to a different site. The speed is great; all the students I've seen are always flipping between tabs and I've never seen an issue with the computer freezing up. Some students bring their own computers and the wireless network works just as efficient. I'm not sure if you can connect to the campus printer; I can't yet afford a computer but I'm working my way up to it and once I can bring my own computer to school I will know more about how the services work.

College Freshman

Facilities: I'm not at the main campus. This campus is located in an outlet mall that didn't get much business. For being in an outlet mall I believe the campus is great. As far as the main campus goes I've only been there once and I didn't see much of it. From what I saw it looked very nice.

College Freshman

Career Services: I haven't graduated yet. I don't know about post-grad services.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The school has been convenient for me. The campus is close to my house and most things can be handled at my campus. If they arent able to handle something there and I go to the main campus Im always in an out of there in a resonable amount of time.
