Online Courses at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: The online courses i have competed has lots of busy work paired with a structure that was confusing and unclear. Unfortunately, many of the students were doing extra work because of this.

Student Body at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: There's a healthy mix of individuals from all walks. Some students are respectful and eager to learn while others are rude, immature and seem to have no desire to better themselves.

Academic Experience at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: I am in the process of acquiring my AA. I will then transfer to another school. No fluff, pretty basic information they make available.

Academic Experience at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: When you first apply, its a mess. The administration appeared to be unorganized. It was pure chaos and no explanations or information was given to the new students.

Overall Experience at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: I have been enrolled at STLCC for only one Trimester, so my experience is limited. Unfortunately, more than half of my professors were inconsistent, unclear and belittling. I am used to being treated with professionalism, respect, and equality but this wasn't the case in 3 of my 5 classes.

Overall Experience at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: This school is "hit or miss." Sometimes the professors are intelligent and passionate and sometimes they're just doing their job. I believe I get what I pay for...it is community college after all.

Tuition & Financial Aid at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: I completed the necessary documents online for Financial Aid and received a notification that the had been sent to my school electronically, but no correspondence from the school. When I contacted the administration for assistance they said I did not qualify but did not explain why and offer other options such as scholarships, grants, etc.

Campus Resources at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: I LOVE all the resources at Meramec! The MAC (Meramec Academic Center) and Writing Centers have helped me majorly on more than one assignment! TRY really hard to get involved in TRiO, they care about the students to the extreme, will find you tutors and want you to reach your goals. IF you are having issues with government agencies you want to get help from, Doris in the SAP (Student Assistance Program) is your Woman, along with help from Rene Price or Jane in the same office. The Financial Aid office can get extremely long lined, so make friends with one of the above people and they can help you faster, some times even meet with you at the fiancial aid office to make sure you understand all the paperwork. The Counselors and Advisors want the best for all the students, but its is best if you go there before you need anything to make an appointment and establish a rapport with one so that when you do need the help they are there for you.

Overall Experience at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: Most of the professors are great! Very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and help those who ask. However that said, LOOK UP REVIEWS on ALL teachers, I have had two AWFUL ones that I want to avoid in the hallways now I hated their teaching style so much!

Online Courses at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: I am taking an online course of Art Appreciation. There is NO discussions, I know my teacher has 50 students but we do not talk to each other at all, can't even see their ideas about the art. Also, if you have a last name with a letter before S, you could be screwed, as he separates the large writing assignment based on name to stagger his grading, a-h due first two weeks, I-R due the fourth ect. But the topic of the essays still require you to look at ALL UNITS, even the ones you have not tested on yet. Its a very tough course, only take on if you want a HARD challenge
