4 College Sophomore

Career Services at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: I am not close to graduation yet, so Im not really sure.

Tuition & Financial Aid at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: Pretty liberal with financial aid, even though some of the women who work in the office have nasty attitudes.

2 College Sophomore

Facilities at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: The social scene is probably the most negative thing I can say about this school. A lot of the students are very childish.

Academic Flexibility at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: Everything went pretty smooth, except some of the ladies in financial aid can have attitudes sometimes.

Campus Resources at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: Library is nice and big, open pool hours three days a week, and you can usually use the gym whenever they are not having a game. Big locker rooms. They do not have a lot of pre organized activities though, you kind of just show up and do what you need to do.

Campus Resources at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: Computer lab is big with high speed internet. Only problem is the people that work in there are very rude, especially when it comes to printing more than 15 pages, because only the nursing students are allowed over 15.

Academic Experience at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: This is a great school to get a technical certification, or 2 year degree. Its affordable and accessible to anyone at any level. They make everything simple, and let you know what to expect.

Academic Experience at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: Personally I loved the EMT course at Forest Park. I had the best teacher and adjuncts that helped her. They offered study groups and were very helpful towards everyone. I also met a few fellow students in the classroom who I became good friends with. The teacher was very honest and an experienced paramedic, and you can tell she has a big heart and wants every single one of her students to make it. Tests were moderately hard, but they prepared us well for them. A lot of team work, which is what EMS is all about after all!

Student Body at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: Typical student is someone who is there to only take general classes for something to do. Most of them have no career goals and mostly sit around in the cafeteria in groups yelling and talking about people, kind of like high school. You are more likely to meet more mature, career oriented people in one of the technical programs this school offers, like culinary arts or EMT. The nursing and dental hygiene students stay to themselves and are very stuck up. Basically, you have to dig deep to find decent friends who share your interests in this place, otherwise, try and stay to yourself if you don't want be disappointed and pulled into drama.

Online Courses at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park: Online teachers do not really pay attention to students, late with grading work, and seldom reply to emails. Otherwise, its good that they wont fail anyone as long as you turn some kind of work in. But if its a subject that you really want or need to learn and gain knowledge from, don't take the class online. I would only recommend for required prerequisites.

Facilities at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: I'm not sure what sets it apart from any other school because I haven't gone to any other school. I know there are many opportunities that I have yet to explore.

Campus Resources at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: Can't really print at the college to my knowledge (since they went "green") I have replaced 3 printers since I began college. The wi fi doesn't work well with my phone nor computer

Campus Resources at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: The campus is clean. The student center is a great resource of information and networking. There ample activities to keep any student busy.

Career Services at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: I haven't made it that far yet...

Tuition & Financial Aid at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: Not many issues with financial aid. When I first started there, the lines were long and the wait times were very long. Now, it's a breeze.

Online Courses at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: The online courses are just as challenging as being in the classroom. I often wonder though what "nuggets" am I missing out on by not being in the classroom. The software has gotten better, in my opinion

Academic Flexibility at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: The Access Office and staff led by Mrs. Amy Bird has been a tremendous support to me and have made my transition to college life much, much easier.

Academic Experience at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: I have switched my major a couple of times but have settled with General Transfer and Business Administration. It's hard work, but the bigger picture looks promising. There are many labs to assist students in being their best such as: Math, Writing, Reading, Chemistry/Biology and Accounting. I have utilized many of these labs and am very appreciative.

Academic Experience at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley: Anything that one wants to do in life is offered at STLCC. It's a great starting platform to launch into graduate studies at a university. Registration is easy. The faculty are very helpful.

Overall Experience at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: I enjoyed going to this school. I was a first time non-traditional student and I felt like I fit right in here. The administration is very helpful and helps you through the process from start to finish, and the teachers were pretty great.

Online Courses at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: I took several online courses during my time at this school. I really enjoyed them, but I have heard mixed reviews. Some people loved them, some hated them. I found that if you have the ability to manage your time effectively and stick to your own schedule then these courses were pretty easy.

Student Body at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: The student body is quite diverse. All demographics seem to be represented here.

Career Services at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: I am not sure what, if any of these types of services are offered to former students. Good question...

Academic Flexibility at St. Louis Community College - Meramec: The school is basically built for part-time non-traditional students. Flexibility is one of the very best things that this school offers. While attending school there I took day, evening, weekend and online classes. I even took accelerated classes which were compressed into half of a semester.
