College Freshman

Online Courses: Not enrolled in online courses.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid sucks, unless your living on the streets they don't give you s***.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Great school and general. Some teachers are hit and miss, meaning that some suck and others are very interested in subject matter. Classes are fairly easy as long as you keep up.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The most unique oppertunities at my Campus is the ability to walk the nature trails and take your self away from the stress of class work. Social scene is ok as there is not to much to "keep" students entertained on campus, inbetween classes or to bring them on to campus for anyting other than school.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Working with Financial Aid as with every other option is a easy option. Having someone who is ale to take care of your needs and help you further yourself is always an big advantage.

Academic Experience: Althouh the current establishment I am attending does not offer the Nursing program the other campuses offer the programs. The work load that I am currently expierencing is that of what you would expect by taking several classes. The facilities are always neat and orderly.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The academics offered at this establishment is vast. You can find any number of things to study. If you cannot find it here the sister campuses offer other programs and are no a far drive from here. Class registration is very self explainatory, but in that instace you can not figure it out there is someone who can help you out at any time.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Super easy to set up my scheduling. The ability to transfer credits was very simple and the convience provided by this establishment was superb

Online Courses: Everyting at this college is amazing and very easy to navigate. The admission process and registration it a breeze. Online class are very easy to set up and follow the directions. The professors keep a very professional relationship with students but it does not have any kind of uneasy approach. You can ask them any question within reason and get a accruate answer. If you did not get one they would look to find the correct one for you. As far as the student body is concerned, they are all very friendly and willing to help.

Student Body: STLCC Wildwood is very widely diverse. There are people of all ages coming from anywhere between Pakistan, England, Japan, Australia, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Seattle, or just across the street. I have a network of hugely varied friends that I hang out with in and out of school. Most students are easy to get along with, so even class projects can be fun. My most recent project group consisted of myself (16yo dual enroller pursuing degree in paramedicine), an 18yo male freshman wanting to join the Marines, a 26yo manager and single father studying journalism and a 36yo married mother from India studying to be an ultrasound nurse. Like I said: widely diverse.

Campus Resources: I have a laptop but never take it to school with me because I don't need to. I go to the computer lab often and there has never been a time when all the computers are taken and someone has to wait. It is also easy to check out laptops from the front desk. The student worker just scans my student ID, scans the laptop and it's all mine for the entire 2 hour battery life. Then I just drop it off at the desk when I'm done! However. (dun dun DUN!!) If for any reason I want to bing my own laptop, it's easy to get on the wifi.

Academic Flexibility: Before registration, I easily found degree plans and class schedules online at STLCC.edu. Any given class had several days/times/instructors to choose from. I was able to set up my whole schedule by myself to fit my needs, so registration was easy and I'm happy with my schedule.

Career Services: I am pursuing an AAS in Paramedic Technology at STLCC and plan to attend Fire Academy apon graduation. I have already spoken to several Cheifs and Ltns at a nearby Fire Protection District/EMS sevice and they all tell the same story. Community College is the best place to study to be a paramedic. I am confident that I will be able to secure a job in my field.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My education at STLCC Wildwood is well worth the tuition. I only have a part time job 9 months of the year, so handing over hard earned cash is painful for buying anything, but I must say I have been extremely inpressed with Wildwood. The library serivces are all included in tuition and the staff are helpful. All the professors are passionate about helping students. Wildwood is well worth my time and money.

Academic Experience: Registration is fast and easy. It is recomended that you see an advisor beforehand (no appointment required) and I did. She helped me choose which classes I should take first in order to get all of my pre-requisites out of the way. After viewing the online Interactive Class Schedule with her and selecting my desired classes at the best days and times for me, all I had to do was fill out the registration slip. This included the classes I wanted to take (eg ENG 101 and BIO 111, etc), the CRN number of those classes (which can easily be found on the online schedule), and my personal information. Boom. Done. There are several payment plans to choose from to suit everyone's needs. So easy and the staff helped me every step of the way.

Academic Experience: I am pursuing an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Paramedic Technology. My ENG 101 instructor is amazing; I have learned so much from him. Though I cannot give extensive advice on a wide variety of classes (this is my first semester and I am only taking 4 credit hours due to financial difficulties), I will say that I already adore the campus. Tutoring is free and easily accessible. The staff are helpful and friendly. I have already spoken with several instructors with whom I plan to take classes in the future, and they were very happy to answer any questions I had about the subjects they teach. Overall, I love STLCC Wildwood and will be sad to leave it when I graduate.

Student Body: There are some really interesting people here at wildwood. i love hearing everyone's story because they can all teach you something about life. the students and staff all seem to be one and I thoroughly enjoy going there to be with everyone.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like my school. I don't have huge pride in it, like I would at a bigger college, but STLCC - Wildwood is giving me a great education, for a low price, which is all that matters. I'm satisfied with my school choice.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: My Classes Are Great! I'm currently working toward a general transfers degree, but I must say that almost all the classes I've taken have been highly enjoyable. They have a wide array of class opportunites available to take.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Professors Are Great – The majority of professors I've had were excellent. They have a passion for what they teach and were there for help when they were needed. They are very understanding and compassionate. If an unexpected complication came up preventing you from finishing an assignment, they will generally alot more time for you to finish it. I'm friends with some of them even after the class is over. Overall, my experience with these professors is a positive one.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not tried to use their services in this area, so I cannot honestly answer this question.

Online Courses: Peer-To-Peer Interaction – I have taken over 4 online courses throughout my college experience. I was nervous, but come to find out, they are probably my favorite courses to take. The interaction between you and your peers can be amazing, the amount of knowledge others bring to the table helps you learn alot about the particular topic your class is studying. I learned a lot just from others knowledge and experience.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Pretty Decent School – The teachers are pretty understanding and help you work around your schedule. Lots of classes offered and easily accessible.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: General Transfer – I'm currently a general transfer student and the classes are mostly what i expected. If you're a hard worker you could probably handle a good job and school at the same time.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Personable Campus – The thing I like most about Wildwood Community College is how easy it is for you to fit in. There are many different clubs like: fine arts, business, Christians, LGBT, student government, history, science, creative writing and many more. There really is a place for everyone. The smaller class sizes also give you the chance to build good relationships with your teachers.
