4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Annapolis is a great tourist town. It's also great for college students. There are many coffee shops, my favorite being 49 West. 49 West has bottomless coffee and live music. The townies are pretty friendly, although definitely more focused on the naval academy. I've always felt safe in Annapolis. I don't often frequent the stores, which are primarily restaurants, bars, and boutiques due to the hefty prices.

Local Atmosphere: Grew up here and there are plenty of things to do, beautiful parks also

Local Atmosphere: I have lived in Springfield, Illinois my whole life. I have also traveled a lot. The city is currently updating itself which is great to see but there just isn't a whole lot to do here.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The local area offers a decent amount of attractions, and it's nice being within traveling distance of Washington, D.C and Baltimore.

Local Atmosphere: Santa Fe is a beautiful place. If you love nature and beautiful views then living at St John's is amazing. Hiking in the mountains is a wonderful activity to unwind over the weekend. Other than that, it is a quiet place to think and enjoy reading books and doing homework. The plaza has a great cupcake place and Ice cream, lots of shopping and places to see. Everything closes at night though so no big partying happening in town, you'll see students in common areas though having a great time hanging out on a balcony or two.
