Campus Dining: Good Food – There are plenty of places to get a variety of food. The main dining hall has anything you could want. In addition there is cafe with a fireplace and study nooks. And then there is the hamburger joint and plenty of area resturants close by.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Hometown Feeling – It is a small campus and everyone is VERY friendly and VERY helpful. You do not feel like a number but a person. The faculty is always ready to help. Very much home away from home.

3 College Junior

Parking: There is ample parking but alot of it is not close to dorms.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: Lots to Do – On campus there are alot of activities and you can join groups or go it alone. Also there are scheduled bus trips to different events in the surrounding community and beyond.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Beautiful and Open – St. Bonaventure's facilities are well maintained. We are in a rural area so the surrounding area is very natural and very beautiful.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Helpful and Small – The programs here at Bonaventure are pretty good and you can find help for anything you need. The classes are smaller so the professors actually know your name and are always available through e-mails or office visits.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Could Be Better – the parking situation at St. Bonaventure could be a lot better. A few of the parking lots that are for students are not too far from classes but are quite a ways from dorms.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Not So Bad – The winters here can vary, from mild to heavy but if it snows they plow the sidewalks to allow us to get to classes easily. The fall is very nice and pretty with the foliage and the spring is pretty warm.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Interest May Vary – St. Bonaventure is a Division One school, so we compete against many good, strong teams. Most sports here go largely unrecognized by many of the students. Basketball is the main sport here, everyone loves it and looks forward to the season.

Facilities: The Campus – St. Bonaventure's campus is beautiful. There are a lot of plants and trees planted on the campus and the buildings are all authentic brick. There is always something happening on campus too.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking at school is great. We have two parking lots to park in. Some of the dorm buildings are far away from the parking though.

Guys & Girls: There is definitely a diverse atmosphere at the St. Bonaventure campus. The students are all different, there are people from large cities and also from small country areas. There is a large amount of attractive boys and girls that attend the school.

Local Atmosphere: Small Town – St. Bonaventure is located between two very small cities in New York. Olean is one of the cities, it has a small population with few diverse stores. Both Olean and the other city Alleghany are small cities, but the residents are family friendly. Everyone is welcoming to the students which is a plus that come with being a small town school.

Athletics: Sports of High Importance – Varsity sports are a large part of St. Bonaventure. The entire campus supports all of the teams as they go through their tournaments and games. It is one of the smallest schools in Division I teams so the students are able to experience the big time sports with the advantages of being a small school. The fans can be in classes and friends with the big time sports players.

Campus Strictness: Drinking on Campus – St. Bonaventure campus has both dry buildings and buildings where if you are over the age of 21 you are able to drink in your room. They are trying to protect students that are under the age from getting hurt from drinking. The Ra's and the security guards are there to support these rules. They have the authority to check on rooms if they believe there is drinking occurring there. The school would prefer that the students do not drink at all, if they do they need to do it off campus.

5 College Junior

Majors: Varied and alot to choose from. I feel that after I get my degree in education I will not have a problem getting a job

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Very safe campus - security always avaiable with any students concerns

4 College Junior

Transportation: The Bona Bus runs ona convient schedule into town and other activities all centered on teh college life

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: This is a small welcoming town and very friendly and helpful to the college students

2 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: The drug use, is not really big, although it depends on who you hang out with. If people are doing drugs, they're usually just smoking. Drinking is a much more popular activity. Some people will go out every night and drink.

1 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food is grose you don't know what it is your eating. No vegan foods. No space to sit when the rush hits.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The speed that we have sucks when in dorms or classes.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Guys Can Seem Intimidating – There are quite a few really good-looking guys here, but a lot of them seem to give off the feeling of not wanting to talk to anyone. Trying to start a conversation can be intimidating. however, once you start talking and break the ice most of them are really nice.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Best Decision I Made – Olean may be small but there are a ton of fun things to do. There is a bus that brings us to the movie theaters & WalMart. How cool is that?! Go Bonas!!!!!!

2 College Freshman

Parking: Trying to Find a Space – Needs more student parking spaces near the freshman dorms.
