4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Everything is really simple, as long as you keep track of your paperwork and maintain contact with the appropriate offices over the timeline from application to enrollment.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is very helpful--any residual financial aid is deposited into a book voucher program, enabling students on financial aid to use that residual money to purchase academic materials, including supplies such as pens, pencils, notebooks, and other office-type supplies.

1 College Junior

Online Courses: I withdrew from the only online course I attempted because the professor refused to give extensions, or work with students who had extenuating circumstances. She also explicitly deducted points for using gender-neutral language when it was relevant to my project topic, and refused to communicate with me on the matter. When asked if I could have the points back after explaining my use of gender neutral language, she ignored me and FURTHER DEDUCTED points from my project without any explanation.

College Junior

Campus Resources: I have not used any of these facilities, as I am an evening student.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computers are all easily accessible, printing is available in classrooms with instructor permission, the internet is quick and smooth, and i have yet to attempt wifi access, though it does exist.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not yet interacted with the career services department at my school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Life as an STCC evening student who has returned to pursue a second degree in an unrelated field is very smooth.
