3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Guy Girl relationships, while present on campus, are not casual. Spring Arbor puts emphasis on the biblical model of a marriage relationship and so Guy/Girl relationships are highly supervised.

Facilities: Spring Arbor's Campus is beautiful, there is so much available for students to use. The quad is a wonderful place with lots of grass and beautiful scenary. The campus is quiet and serene, while being vibrant and alive.

College Freshman

Greek Life: Because Spring Arbor is such a small, Christian campus, Greek life is not a part of the university.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are a few chain restaurants and some cute local places within walking distance that make for interesting variety in a small town. Also, it is near enough to a bigger town with lots more options.

Overall Experience: The course quality at Spring Arbor University is excellent. The class sizes are small and intimate, allowing for one-on-one conversation and more time for questions. The professors not only teach about the subject matter but they lead their lives as an example to us students of what living for Christ looks like.

Overall Experience: I am pursuing a degree in special education and Spring Arbor is the perfect place to do that. Spring Arbor is a very highly regarded in their education program. The department of education is one of the best and with the equipping I will get in my classes, finding a significant job opportunity will not be hard.

3 College Senior

Campus Dining: Campus dining has good and bad days. The Cougar den is the only other option and it's not bad.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: In Spring Arbor there are not many restaurants. We have a few pizza places, a McDonald's and a diner. If you want anything else you're going to have to drive to Jackson, but Jackson has everything.

3 College Senior

Athletics: Athletics are not extremely important at Spring Arbor. Students support the big games and there is a small fan base for everything, but intramural sports are where the excitement is. Everyone just wants one of those t-shirts.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Since it is a christian based university they have a lot of rules and restrictions. They have rules on when opposite sex can come to other dorms, zero tolerance for drinking and even tobacco. The school is very great but the rules do annoy me a lot.

Off-Campus Housing: Not many people live off campus, those who do just live at home because they live close to the school in the first place. But most students just live on campus. Those who do live off famous usually rent a house with other students. The houses are pretty nice and a good size but are usually about a 15-20 minute drive.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Dining off campus isn't very special. Its mainly just big diners and fast food places like McDonalds. We go to Applebees a lot for the half off appetizers, sometimes we will get pizza on the weekends as well. But thats about it.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I think since we are in a very small town, is the reason why we have such a safe campus. There are almost no crime on campus. They only thing I can really think of is bikes being stolen, but thats it. Campus Safety does a great job and help students when needed.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: We do not have a Greek life at all. Since we are a very small campus and Christian orientated, we do not have it at all.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: At Spring Arbor, Sports are not very big but people still attend them here and there. They are seen more as something fun to do around campus and not something people are really following and care about. The players take it very seriously and are very good at what they do, but the fan support is not that good. The school facilities are great and kept very nice. They are great for intramurals and the student body really appreciates them.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Spring Arbor is a very diverse campus but still holds everyone equal. It is very easy to go up to anyone and have a talk with them. Everyone is very kind and accepting. Religion is almost all christian. It is a christian based college but there still are some people who are not as well. But that doesn't make anythings worse with acceptance. I have a few friends who are not christians like me, but it does not change anything. Also ethnic diversity is big too. There are many ethnicities at Spring Arbor and it is great. I met many different people this year and have made many good relationships with them.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I am going for a Criminal Justice degree. At Spring Arbor, they have a great Criminal Justice program. The teachers I had and ones that I have spoken with are all very great and knowledgeable. They are interactive and all focus on a connection with the students. They really make the students think and put them in situations that will help them in the future.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: At Spring Arbor, the academics are great. With a small student population you get the smaller class sizes. Each class has about 20-25 students in it. This creates a great class environment and helps you be able to connect with the professor. The workload is tough but it is very helpful. Being a liberal arts college, you take a lot of classes that you wonder how they will even help you in the future. And Spring Arbor really helps set you up with many options for the future even if it is not related to your major.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The Resident Hall I am in is a very old one, but I love it. It is very small and old fashioned. But the people in it are awesome. I loved the atmosphere and my time there. I plan on returning there this upcoming year.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: It is a very small city and there is not much going on at all. There are not a lot of people in the city either. There is a big city about 10 miles out, but that still doesn't have much to do. It is all a very rural area.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: They did not have much variety. They served the same food a lot and it got old very quick. The food quality was also very poor in my opinion.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: In the town of Spring Arbor, there is a Subway, a McDonald's and a couple of other restaurants. If people want to eat out, they will have to travel into Jackson, which is at least 9 miles away from the campus.

College Junior

Campus Housing: I am a student who commutes from the area of Spring Arbor University.

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I think the strictness is positive in many ways because it strongly discourages the use of the alcohol and drugs, which is one of the reasons that helped me become a student at Spring Arbor University. The strictness leads to trust within the student body.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Spring Arbor University is a Christian university and most of the people who attend there are Christian believers, which is very awesome in my opinion.
