4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: my major is nursing and there are a lot of students who aspire to get into the program. So far everything is really organized in how we are suppose to get things done. The counselors are extremely helpful in helping you to make your dreams come true whether you are going to transfer to a university or if you will continue the program at the community college.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: All of the professor's I have had are extremely knowledgeable and have a good set way to connect to all of the students on some kind of level. The curriculum is all current and the staff really do a good job of staying current on affairs. Class registration is very easy and accessible to every student and if you need help with it the staff is really good about helping a student in need. Sometimes the workloads can be really difficult to keep up with but that is how any college works. Lastly there a ton of study options every major subject has a "tutoring center" that anybody could go to get help on a subject.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: When classes end isn't specific. My first quarter I had an hour between classes because of this. Some information is vague and a meeting with a counselor isn't required for first time students.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Some required classes aren't offered every quarter this makes getting credits done in a timely manner difficult. Many professors are part time so not listed when registering for classes. This makes getting a good professor very difficult.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am in Criminal Justice, and so far I have been having a lot of fun taking the classes required to reach my goal. There are tons of teachers to get to know, right here on a nice, bright atmosphere campus. I have never seen anything truly wrong with SCC. I also love how they stay on top of making me aware of everything that happens on campus, and when to get things done to be successful.
