College Junior

Online Courses: i havent had my onlince course yet. so i cant rate what i think of them.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: when picking your classes its very convient to work with you work schedule and things like that..

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: its been a wonderful experience. the professors are always there to assist you and help you with any questions you may have. The courses can sometimes be a little tricky but it all works out having professors help anyway they can.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: its just a community college but its a very credited school.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The campus i attend only has Two buildings. Theres not many clubs or anything like that at our campus so the students usually come and do what they have to do for whichever class they are in and leave. im sure its a lot better at the main campus.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: the campus is really small. until more buildings get built and it grows a little te resources will be limited.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I've never had a problem with this. The library and student center is very approachable. Th aesthetics could be better but it is a community college so I don't expect any more than what it is.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I didn't have any problems with my on-line classes. I enjoyed each of them and they helped me become a better student because I had to manage my time and study better.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Most of the classes are available at any time, I have even taken a Saturday class. But once you get into a program the schedule is set and there is no wiggle room to take a class at another time. I knew this but some students are not aware of this.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I haven't entered into the nursing program yet but so far it seems that the process is very structured and organized.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: SCC offers the TLC (the learning center) in which you can go to study alone or get help from tutors if you don't understand something. The biology professors are the best so far for me; they genuinely want to see you succeed and will help you any way they can.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Some of the students are fresh out of high school but most of the students are non-traditional and are there to learn and complete the class with a good grade. I like this better than a typical 4 year college because it can be distracting to try and learn with younger students in the classroom.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have not had any bad experiences and all of my teachers have been attentive to me and my learning experience. Especially the biology teachers; I've had the best experiences with them.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I haven't had a lot of experience with the career center but I have been on the other side in my previous position as a recruiter and each job fair, SCC has had a booth there to encourage businesses to look into their graduating students.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is affordable compared to 4 year colleges, however I would not be able to afford it without the lottery and extra grants/scholarships due to entering into the nursing program with the extra costs associated (books, nursing kit, etc).

3 College Senior

Career Services: I do not know. I'm still in the ADN program

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The major in itself is wonderful but the workload is overwhelming.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Most of the nursing faculty are pretty good with the exception of one of them so far that I have encountered.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It was clear cut and I didn't have any difficulty with the process.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition I'm paying is worth the education I am receiving.

2 College Senior

Online Courses: I have taken several online courses and my experience with them varied depending on who the instructor was. Some of them cared and were more involved than the others.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The resources are fair but I believe they need to add a study room in the health science building and a break room.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: This is my first year starting at this school. my semester starts in fall so I am not accredited to discuss the aspects of my major at this time. I am hopeful, from what I have been hearing though, and will be interested to find out if the things that go with my major will be difficult for me, or if my professors and correspondence will help where help will be much needed.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The academics at my school are excelsior. Curriculums are beneficial although some might think they are not important. The registration process is simple and easy and guides us students step by step. The workload is very manageable and that makes everything else ride smoothly to obtain good grades and keep concentration throughout our work study.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Every single resource I have come to on campus has been extremely helpful. They have all gone above and beyond to make me feel excited about my career choice, taken their own time to learn a bit more about me as a person and taken that information and applied it to my schedule and career field. I have never experienced that luxury before and consider myself very lucky.
