Student Body: There are only a few organizations where students can get together. Most students do not have much to say, or are not interested in to getting to know anyone.

Academic Experience: I am just a general studies major so there is really nothing unique.

Academic Experience: There are little things to choose from, but it is a community college. Community college is not supposed to have ever major or minor.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I love that the tuition is not bank breaking! The only problems I have had with the school is that the financial aid office is unorganized. I have had issues with being told I was going to be backed out of my classes because of unpaid tuition when in fact I had over enough financial aid to cover me for the semester. It also bothered me when I brought it to attention that I had enough to cover tuition, the response I received was "Oh well financial aid does not go through for another couple of months, but your tuition is covered". My thoughts to that are that if I am covered, please do not send me an email saying that I will be back out of my classes. That puts extra stress on students. We don't need any extra stress, it is stressful enough! Another issue I have had with the financial aid office is that they have some rude employees, that always seem annoyed when a student walks in to ask a question. Once I went in to ask about a scholarship check and before I had even finished my sentence, they were directing me elsewhere, when actually I was where I was supposed to be.

Overall Experience: Going to a community college was not my first choice but when I ended up at Southwest, I realized that it was a good first start, cheaper, and helped me figure out what career I want to uphold before transferring to a 4 year institute. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose Southwest because it is a great place to go to just get your general studies finished.

Facilities: The campus only consists of 6 buildings, some are up to date with the needed materials while others lack in some spots.

Career Services: I have not really used the career services, but I am sure that they are good.

Campus Resources: Southwest's campus is equipped with a work out gym, basketball courts, tennis courts, and even an outdoor track. There new library is great to go to when one is in need of the internet and extra study materials.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: We have multiple computer labs that are open to the students. There is a wireless connection through out most of the campus and students are able to print for free if they have their own copy paper, but if not they have to pay a small charge.

Academic Flexibility: The only problem I have really had with the school is financial aid. The financial aid office is very unorganized and some of the employers that work in that particular office are rude. The way a student can choose to have classes two days a week or all four is great for when you have a child, part-time job, or have other circumstances that cause one to not have a full week of classes.

Online Courses: I love having online classes, they are great for when you have a semi busy schedule and you are able to learn on your own time. The teachers make every thing known, such as assignments, tests, and any lecture videos the course requires.

Campus Resources: My school doesn't seem to focus on the students. There are so many people that complain because the employees aren't willing to help us find things or get us on the right track!

Career Services: I am still enrolled at Southwest and I have no job. I was denied work study at my college and so was my sister. I am not sure why. Even though the work study at Southwest is "ify," to say the least, but they are great at getting someone an internship. All degrees awarded at this college has a job offer somewhere, you just needto look around sometimes to see what and where this job may be hiding. The wonderful staff is always willing to help get you a job. They even call the job sites for you at times.

Academic Flexibility: My experience at Southwest Community College has been worth while. It is very convenient for me, because the college is only about thirty minutes from where I live. When I first entered into the college, I was quite nervous and scared. I wasn't sure of how my teachers and classmates would react to me. But I was granted open arms to each of my classes. It was a surprising treat. I was able to choose my classes and my teacher, and even the time I would be in the class each week. I had no idea that, that was even possible.

Tuition & Financial Aid: At Southwest Community College the teachers, professors, staff, and students are all wonderful and are willing to help you if you have any issue or problems. My mother does my financial aid work online at the college's website. The classes are quite easy, at least what I am taking, which is just General Studies and Fine Arts. My tuition that I receive from Sourhwest is agreeable for my time and the education that I am gaining. I am thankful to have a school such as Southwest to help me learn new things and to get me ready for the realworld.

Academic Experience: So far I have received a good education from my school but I feel as if sometimes the classes are made too easy because the school is just a community college.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition and financial aid are pretty fair at my school, however, truthfully speaking, sometimes dealing with the financial aid office is a nightmare.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: My school offers many different classes in many different formats. For example, you can take classes on campus during the day, in the evenings, and online.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Students at my school are very diverse. You never know exactly what you're going to see when you go to school.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have not faced any struggles this far. The advisors are very helpful in making sure you do not give yourself to thinly to people, because you definitely need some down time to study and rest

College Senior

Career Services: I am not graduating until this coming fall from this college...however others that i know have had no troubles adjusting to the larger scale of things

4 College Senior

Student Body: this is a school that allows many different statures of people
