Overall Experience: My school is close to home and in a safe neighborhood. It is a small school with only 96 students in the high school. We are all like family.

Online Courses: I have taken three on-line courses thus far. Two have been very organized and informative but not very challenging. These were pre-reqs for my program and very useful. These teachers were quick to reply to questions. The last has been very un-organized and I have not learned much thus far, fortunately I already had a firm grasp of the material from previous education. So overall, I would say it depends on the coarse.

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I have not used these facilities and don't feel available to answer.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I have only used these facilities once but the lab tech was very helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: The study body in the classes I have taken thus far have been very diverse in ages and overall educational experience. Although everyone seems very friendly and helpful.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not used this service and don't have any information to base a rating on at this time.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am in the pre-nursing program and have been really impressed with the organization of the program and curriculum thus far.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have been lucky to have great professors thus far and have not had to use many of the study programs. However, I have heard my classmates discussing their successes with the tutors and other services. I would recommend the Plato online study program for anyone preparing to take the TEAS test. The school offers it for free online and it's an in-depth study guide.

College Sophomore

Facilities: I have mostly taken night classes and have not taken advantage of any of the campus life opportunities thus far. So I don't feel that I should rate this category.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The classes I have taken so far have been great! They are organized and easy to follow. The steps to the nursing program are easily accessible online for the off-campus student and clearly explained in the information session (Great Concept)!. Wish the financial aid process was explained better online though. Overall, this school is ideal for the returning, working student - it's accessible, affordable and informative.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The wifi can be unreliable sometimes. It will stop working at random times.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is always open and isn't a bad place to study.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: So far, I've enjoyed my time spent at Southside. I've met so many people and formed great friendships. Despite the campus being so small, the college always finds ways to provide its students with fun activities throughout the day.
