3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: It is fairly similar to what I grew up with. The biggest problem is there isn't much to do unless you have a vehicle of some sort.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: It's a small friendly town. You will feel safe if you live here.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The locale town is small but Lexington is 10 minutes away and has plenty of stuff to do. There are also different attractions around that you can visit. We don't interact with the other two universities nearby mainly because they're military and most of them can't leave campus without permission.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Buena Vista is full of character and quirks. Since it is a small town of only 6000 people and 3 curmudgeons there isn't a lot of modern recreational activities so you have to be creating when coming up with a date idea. or you could just drive to Lexington home of VMI and Washington and Lee university to get your entertainment. personally I enjoy the little things like the charm of the hole-in-the-wall restaurants such as blue dog art cafe. the people are friendly if a little guarded but once they warm up to you they'll do anything to make you feel like family.
