Off-Campus Dining: It's a small city in a small area. What would you expect?

Nightlife: It's a small Mormon school in a small city. What would a person expect?

Academics: It's both busy, yet not busy. A lot of classes to take over time.

Off-Campus Housing: Lot of options. A little bit of everything.

Transportation: The city is so small there is no need to get to campus.

Guys & Girls: Half of the students are very strange, half are normal. I personally, being a girl, don't hang out with many girls because they're judgmental and snobby. Students dress like normal people, no particular style. Quite a few girls have the outdated, cargo pant, cringe at the scrunchie on their wrist style, but there are also normal ones. Guys are just guys.

Athletics: My high school had more spirit. Football is great. Other sports, you can go to laugh. We are D3 so it's kind of a joke anyway

3 College Freshman

Parking: I don't think the pass cost anything, if it did, it was cheap. Parking gets worse as the day goes on, better late at night and continues in the cycle. I like to invent my own spots, or take my student parking tag off and park in staff parking like a lot of us do.

Campus Dining: Two options: cafeteria or Jonzzeys. Jonzzeys is so good but a little pricey, caf is not so great but free with your meal plan. If you don't have a meal plan, the caf is not worth the 7 or 8 dollars

Local Atmosphere: Activities, shopping, food, attractions, sports= nonexistent and I wish I was exaggerating. It's 45 minutes to civilization. Townspeople are nice to students, though. SVU students have a good rep

3 College Freshman

Facilities: History behind it is interesting, main hall is pretty. LDS based environment is unique. Small classes and the fact that it's liberal arts.

2 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Very strict but most students don't abide by rules anyway

3 College Freshman

Majors: Not many options. Better for arts than sciences or politics

4 College Freshman

Majors: Didn't have my major, but all classes and professors are great. Required courses for majors are well-outlined and straightforward.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: For an LDS based school, I'd give it one bubble. Most students have, will or can obtain alcohol or drugs easily and it's super easy to not get caught

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Plenty of places, nice people, nice places (for the most part), good prices

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The Lofts are really nice, but it's really the only option girls have.

1 College Freshman

Nightlife: SoOoOoOo lame. Get a car, get out of BV.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I was originally told I'd get almost a full ride, then got about a half-funded scholarship. Scholarships were given out to each student, but Fall 2014 they will stop. It's a really expensive school.

4 College Freshman

Computers: We have a Mac lab, which is great. No computers are ancient, they're all nice.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Many students aren't LDS, contrary to how it appears. Most football players aren't members, and we have one of every race. Pretty good for a small school

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: No complaints. Never an issue, OPSS will take care of anything.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Either really hot, just right, or freezing. We had a bad winter, but generally I don't think it snows much. In the summer and when it gets warm again, there are a ton of gnats and it drives everyone crazy

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Only places in town are BK and Subway, and Hardees. You can order Dominos and they'll deliver, there's also a chinese and mexican place in town but it's quite a walk. If you don't have a car, you probably won't be eating off-campus much
