5 College Senior

Academics: I am very pleased with my education so far being enrolled in the B.S Psychology program. The workload is challenging, and the faculty are so helpful. The close-knit classes make it a very one-on-one intimate learning experience which allows students to flourish their strengths.

5 College Senior

Transportation: Transportation is available through vans around campus as well as the Green Mountain transportation service which allows students to go all around the state of Vermont.

4 College Senior

Weather: It what you expect the weather would be in Vermont. Since our class are up the hill at the Mansion, we have a bus that take two minutes to get there, but professors are really good about canceling classes if weather is too harsh.

5 College Senior

Parking: Everyone gets a great parking spot right next to their dorms, and or close to the classroom because our college is small.

Off-Campus Housing: There are many opportunities to find apartments around the Bennington Area. Small-town, outdoorsy settings, set off-campus living apart for on-campus.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: There are a lot of Rednecks at our school, but we also get many students from Connecticut and Massachusetts as well as California. Our Volleyball team is the best in the conference, both male and female teams. Almost everyone participates in athletics at our campus. Super fun, family-orientated, and fit.

Campus Housing: Campus life is great. My college provides many activities, sports, and clubs. Unfortunately, since I'm an upper class man, I find it easier to focus on my studies when I live off-campus.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Sports are a big thing for most students at SVC, I enjoyed being part of a team.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Overall good chemistry and the school has good spirit

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: nothing really goes on in the town, but as long as you have a social life in your dorm area and school itself, it's easy to find things to do.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Mostly good for getting to classes and back down to the dorm, however not very easy to get transportation into town or to nearby stores for school shopping.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: too many kids , especially those who are in sports get away with a lot of drinking and partying. its not fair. i don't enjoy walking into a dorm building or suite and the smell of weed hits me. the advisers of the building need to get it together , same with drinking.

Weather: the weather here is the typical vermont weather. somedays its extremely cold and snowy and the classes never get cancelled. in the fall and spring time it seems to be very rainy and windy and getting to class means waiting for the schools shuttle bus to come pick us up outside our dorms, which isn't fun waiting for because the bus is always 5-10 min behind schedule most days. but when it does warm up and be sunny outside the teachers like to have the students learn outside and at least living on campus and walking around is a lot more enjoyable when the weather is nice.

3 College Freshman

Academics: The professors are mostly nice. The curriculum is easy. The registration process is easy. The workload is alright. I like that they have extra help programs like the writing lab and math tutors to help you with yours studies.

3 College Freshman

Academics: I am a freshman and for my major you don't take radiology classes your freshman year. You must wait until Junior year to take radiology classes.

2 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Not feeling it, most teachers seem narrow minded and limited.

Weather: Snow and bone chilling windy weather everyday.

Nightlife: I drive home everynight. The end.

Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: Unless your an eccentric with millionare parents and sports cars don't expect any girls to notice you. They are unapproachable. Most are too busy to talk.

2 Recent Alumnus

Computers: Sometimes there is not a computer to use.

Diversity: Everyones either white, or latino. maby 1 chinese person. a few blacks.

5 Recent Alumnus

Local Atmosphere: Calm, Quite, Reserved, Beautiful mountains.

2 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I mainly hang out with the jocks so we are all about the same. We dress like jocks guy and girls.

2 College Freshman

Diversity: The campus does lack in cultural diversity. But, I am from community in CA that is lacking also, so you just get use to it and hope people will just come around.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Nothing actually happens here so any time there is the slightest disturbance, campus safety has to come out in full force. Any time a "party" (I use this term loosely, as a party here consists of 10-15 people sitting in a common room drinking) happens it is broken up immediately. There is even a rule against pong tables at any time, even if there is literally no alcohol involved. Everyone here is treated like a child.
