5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Cedar City is full of great attractions and activities for anyone and everyone. We have national parks close by, The Utah Shakespeare Festival, and a great university! Students are more able to experience the world around them while in college.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Coming from a large town Cedar City is very small and has a lot less to offer to students who are not use to the small town atmosphere.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Cedar City is a beautiful area. There are lots of national parks nearby and also tons of hiking and mountain biking trails. The school also offers great outdoor gear retails. This is awesome because you can rent camping supplies, rock climbing equipment and tons of other things for extremely cheap prices. However there isn't much to do or see in the actual town. There are a handful a great places to eat and not much shopping available besides walmart. But thats a good thing being a poor college student. Its also a very safe town.

1 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: There's so much of a focus on the outdoors that the town forgot to add anything else. And it snows six months out of the year, so unless you feel like snow-shoeing for the millionth time, it's extremely limited.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: For a small town its pretty nice, and the Shakespeare Festival is good, but just too small and not much to do
