Academic Flexibility: there are day and evening classes so you can fit school into you schedule, other than that it seems like the faculty doesn't know what they're doing from one month to another.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is way too high for what we get. Financial Aid persons are great, but i have heard alot of students having problems with externship placement. also, we have been given wrong book or books late in a coarse. it seems like they take it day by day

Campus Resources: there is only three computers in the library; the printer attached to them hardly ever works. one computer lab was turned into a classroom. alot of trouble connection to internet with alot of computers or their not connected to a printer. recomended you have you own computer and printer

Facilities: i hant been to other campuses but STC Auburndale is not very structured. the teachers are great but we have been through 3 different deans in 2 yrs.

Online Courses: There is no online courses

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do not qualify for federal financial aid, and my parents dealt with the student loans because I did not understand the process. However, tuition is reasonable and I have it drafted from my account every month, so there is no hassle in keeping up or worrying about missing a payment.

Overall Experience: Given a million chances, I would choose my school every time. The value that the faculty places on a student's education is something I will not find at many other schools. They will help you with any problem you might have, whether it is personal or academic. They truly take an interest in the student as a person, and that quality alone is enough to make this school worthwhile.

Academic Flexibility: My school offers both day and night classes many times throughout the week, so it is easy to schedule classes around my work schedule. I have had no problems with the scheduling process. Electives are not taken at my current school, so transfer credits only applied to degree requirements. This was not a problem for me, as all the credits I transferred happened to be degree requirements.

Facilities: I have not had experience at other schools. I studied a few semesters at a community college, but my classes were mostly online and I never really noticed the campus. The main difference that I have noticed between my former school and my current school is that my current school is extremely student oriented and everyone, from staff to teachers, makes me feel like my education is their top priority.

Online Courses: I have not taken any online classes at this school.

Campus Resources: The only school resources I've used, and therefore have knowledge of, is the diagnostic imaging labs. There is always at least one teacher in the lab, and students of diagnostic imaging majors can sign in for a few hours at a time to get in extra scanning time. The teacher can "tutor" us on technique and we can practice for upcoming exams.

Campus Resources: Students are allowed to print on campus at no cost and with no limit, though the librarian does ask that we print on both sides of the paper when possible. We are allowed to bring laptops with us to most classes, but many do not see the need. I have used the wireless network on both my cell phone and tablet, from inside the school and from the parking lot and I've never had a problem with it. There are three computer labs on campus, and at any given time one of them is almost guaranteed to be mostly empty.

Academic Experience: I love my major (Diagnostic Medical Sonography), and so do the people I've met who share my major. Our curriculum involves clinical application of all the different types of sonography (abdominal, breast, OB/GYN, etc.), something most other majors don't get to experience. At the end of my program, I have to participate in two separate externships in two separate fields of sonography, and there are numerous job opportunities for certified sonographers in my area and around the country. I feel very blessed to be able to study this field of medicine, as it is always growing and there will always be a need for people in the field.

Academic Experience: My school offers a very straight-forward curriculum; I don't have to bother with meaningless credits in the form of electives or having to decide for myself which science class to take. They give us the exact classes we need to take, and we take them in a certain order, which I love about this school and is the main reason I transferred from my local community college. The school is known for it's medical programs, such as Medical Assisting, Surgical Technician, and my major, Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The professors are hands on, and many professors teach numerous classes, allowing them to become acquainted with the students.

Student Body: I've met people and made friends from all walks of life, from middle-aged adults working their way into their second career to young eighteen-year-olds fresh out of high school, and everyone in between. There are students younger than my age of twenty who are parents and married, and there are students much older than me who are free spirited and have yet to settle down. I have encountered a kind of diversity that I never could have experienced in high school. Everyone seems to be equally accepted.

Career Services: Career counselors at my school have a very good reputation within the school for helping students find work post-grad. However, I am only in my second semester of studies and have not yet required their assistance, so I do not feel I should rate them on their quality of service.

Overall Experience: So far my experience has been great. My enrollment adviser is awesome. My instructor is also great. I hope all my instructors are like her. I think that offering classes in the morning and at night is great. If your schedule doesn't allow you to get to the morning class I can go to the night class and that's why I would choose this school again.

Academic Experience: So far everything seems to be great. I just recently started so I can't say from my own experience just what other student have told me. So far the work load seems doable. I am going for Medical Assisting and haven't gotten into those actual classes yet but I can't wait to get there. I am told the internships and job opportunities if wonderful.
