4 College Senior

Student Body: I love watching people interact with each other around campus. There is a dining hall and dorm here, which is definitely not standard fare for community colleges. As a result, I hear people talking about their interactions outside of class quite often. There are plenty of organizations to take part in and my fellow students are quite helpful. In the lounge, students can buy food and hang out watching tv or using the computers there. Many people play games on different days. I love it when the Dungeon and Dragons players take up the middle of the lounge.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There is such a huge array of students but they're all pretty awesome.

4 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Great diversity with students of different ethnic backgrounds, religious tolerance, and LGBT visibility. The last class I took had everyone from a home schooled 16 year old to new citizens to 50+ thinking about a career change.

5 College Freshman

Student Body: Everyone has been very kind and helpful

3 College Freshman

Student Body: The school I attend is said to be the most diverse school in Maine. Southern Maine Community College(SMCC) is a great school to start at. SMCC also helps and supports all types of religious and sexual backgrounds. SMCC gives students free tutoring; people are always willing to help people. Everybody here is friendly.
