3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Best to live outside of Edwardsville, where it's a little bit cheaper.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There are several off-campus options available to live in and there are all reasonably priced. They are easy to obtain and are very safe.

5 College Student

Off-Campus Housing: I live off campus, and I love it. It is amazing. I have my own apartment, and I enjoy it.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I have lived off campus for the past couple of years and I absolutely love it. It costs less for me than to live in the dorm. Also, I feel as if I am more of an adult living off campus. I have lived in two different places since living off campus and neither of them were hard to find, there is enough space for me and my boyfriend, and I have felt safe in both places. Both places I have lived have had off street parking, but it is limited. There is also a website dedicated to finding off campus housing for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Its really expensive and selective, most people that commute live around so they just stay at home. My advice is if you don't live in the general area just stay on campus you'll get more out of campus life that way.
