Off-Campus Housing: I am currently in the process of preparing to live off campus, but I already have pros and cons. The pros are freedom, more space, and responsibility. However, my cons include high cost in rent for an independent college student and proximity from classes.

Off-Campus Housing: There's a lot of off-campus housing, but the least expensive are not in the safest parts of town. The proximity to campus is great and the transit system runs through many of the locations.
