4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I have lived in this area my entire life, and there is always something that you can do. There are plenty of clubs in New Haven and Yale has a museum not far from SCSU.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: A local atmospheric part of the the city of New Haven is the Downtown area. Downtown has many shopping stores and plenty of postive activities to get involve in including interacting with other colleges like Yale or a neighborhood college like University of New Haven.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There is great public transportation to get you anywhere you need to get, also the school has shuttles as well. Sometimes because it is an urban area there are crimes going on but its stuff that is unfortunately normal at this point. In the area there are many people around the same age as college students so everyone blends in. Because the university is in New Haven which is pretty densely populated and filled with many cultures there is always a variety of things to do and places to eat.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The atmosphere in New Haven is good. Downtown there are a lot of restaurants and little shops. The school is also close to the train station which makes it easy if you want to go to the city.

4 Recent Alumnus

Local Atmosphere: The safety isn't so great but there are a lot of activities within driving distance and along public transportation lines.
