Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining is focused on fast food and local restaurants such as KFC, subway (in campus area), chick-a-dilly, Flying Burger, McDonalds, Mexican restaurant, BBQ restaurant and et cetera. The cost is pretty affordable. There is a special discount in BBQ restaurant if you are student. Its considered a big meal of BBQ pork with french fries and side options.

Majors: I have never been an intern

College Freshman

Majors: I haven't applied for a job

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know much

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: there is not much to do

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: The greeks are viewed as snobby and think they are better then everyone else. Each group has a specific label that they are viewed as. It's relatively easily to get a bid, I have heard it is worth it.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The football games and basketball games are always packed. There isn't much to do so sports are a big deal. The facilities are nice and well taken care of.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There are a decent amount of housing available off campus. Finding an apartment can be hard to do but if you take the time it is very worth it. The school is very strict about kids living off campus and the different requirements are very ridiculous. I was in a really difficult situation where living off campus was basically my only option and all the cared about was getting my money for my dorm.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: There are some different classes you can take. They have a decent selection of different languages you can take. If you register early it is simple, if not it is a huge headache. There are a large variety of study areas.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: It just depends on the person. It is in the south so there is still open racism. While there are people open about their sexual orientation many people are not very accepting and can be very rude. Ethnic groups tend to stay with each other.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: They have a very large variety of majors. I have only heard of a few that people have transferred for. They are adding an engineering program which is a great idea.

1 College Sophomore

Majors: The people in the program have no idea what they are doing. My advisor has put me a semester behind and has not helped me at all. She never emails me back about any questions. She "forgot" to put me in a class we have a whole discussion about, luckily I realized before the semester started.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Its decent there aren't very many parties. The house parties are okay, never really much going on. The few parties that are held at venues are either extremely hot or outside during fall when its 40 degrees and windy.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: It's a small town so there aren't very many places to eat. The few places that they do have aren't very good. If you like fast food chicken and average mexican food you're in luck. After about 11 there are maybe 3 places to eat at and after 12 you have a choice of McDonald's or McDonalds.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: There are lots of computer labs on campus with tons of computers. You definitely do not need a computer unless you like doing work in your room. The network reliability and wireless isn't very good in some spots but they are working on it. The speed has been a lot better. Only negative is in the dorms you have to use your own paper but your printer money on your account still goes down like you use the schools paper.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It is very dark at night but you constantly see police during the day. It doesn't seem to happen as often at night but overall it isn't bad.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Lot of international students on campus, lots of racial diversity. People do tend to stay within racial/ethnic boundaries. Conservative campus so the LGBT community is not a popular group. Most people aren't cool with that community but tend to hide how they feel because of the fear of getting in trouble.

Different religions on campus.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Do your research about the types of people living in each dorm, or you can find yourself living in a dorm where you are the outcast. There are no kitchens in any of the dorms so you can't cook.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: You can smell marijuana if you're in the right spots on campus. Its a smoke-free campus but you can still get some places where people go to smoke.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The locals are amazing. They are so friendly, peaceful and supportive. If anything, they make up for the lack of entertainment in the area. Magnolia is a small city. It has walmart and the dollar general. Not much else. You'll have to drive out of town to go clubbing or other forms of entertainment.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Its strict to ensure the safety of all students. Visitation hours in the dorms are from 12pm to 12am during the week. Its reasonable.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Just apply for aid on time and you should be okay. Other students don't seem to be having problems with it. Scholarships are available but will most likely not be enough. You just need to contact the financial aid office constantly to ask for info about new scholarships. Watch out for new ones.
