3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: There are a good variety of eating establishments on campus. However, once you have visited them all it can seem like there are not that many to choose from. We have main dining hall that serves almost anything you can imagine. It even has an international bar, where they have foods from different nationalities. There are also four other eating establishments on campus that serve fast food, smoothies, deli items and things of that nature. All of the food is delicious.

3 College Senior

Campus Dining: The food is okay, it just get tiring eating the same thing and seeing the same things everywhere. the majority of the food is fast-food kind or sandwiches and lost of soybean made food which can be unhealthy with excess. the prices are ridiculously high for no reason which just contributes to the factor of eating out or cooking for one self because it is not worth eating the food that is provided.

Campus Dining: My school's food is great! They always have vegetarian and vegan options and the food doesn't taste like it comes from a box.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: My favorite places to dine in/from are the cafeteria, KR's, the Kayak, and the VM (Village Market). The cafeteria has a wide variety of foods and sections including a fruit bar, a salad bar, a Panini station, the menu of the day bar(s), an international bar, which varies upon the week, a dessert bar, and different refrigerated goods like drinks, ice creams, frozen foods, and snacks. KR's is like the campus café/diner. It serves items like sandwiches, wraps, pretzels, quesadillas, teas, and other comfort foods. The Kayak is like a health hut where students can construct their own smoothies, order healthy snacks like pita chips or energy bars, and eat different vegetable wraps, sandwiches, and salads. And, finally, the VM serves as Southern's very own Publix with many organic and vegetarian goodies to choose from, from produce to deli.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: On campus dining at Southern Adventist University is completely vegetarian/vegan. No meat is served on campus. Student's can eat at the cafe, or campus restaurants such as CKs, KRs, the VM, or the Kayak. The cafe has many options, they also like to experiment a lot with new dishes. The cafe usually very promising. CKs is more of the fast food type of restaurant on campus. KRs is more of the lounge and dine kind of restaurant. The VM is the campus grocery store, that has a deli where students can purchase food as well. The Kayak is located in the wellness center, there students can purchase healthy options and well as made on the spot fruit smoothies. As far as costs, students may learn over time which restaurant serves the greatest value for each meal. For breakfast, the cafe tends to be the best deal. But for lunch and dinner not so much.
