Campus Resources: Computer Network – At Southeastern Illinois College we have a Student Success Center that is very nice as far as computer availability and being able to print. New Wave provides the school with internet which is very nice because it is fast and allows me to have many things running at one time.

Online Courses: Overall,I have experienced three online courses so far this semester, and feel like the professor has taught us just as much as if we were in a classroom setting. So far, the instructor has guided us through our lessions without leading us a stray of any sort. Traditional classrooms is easier for kids that lack self motivation.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Life Isn't Fair – I am incredibly unhappy with financial aid. I was patient and went through all of the necessary measures with a smile and my face and was still rejected. I was told it was because my father made too much income (despite our haneous medical bills). I am only one child of three here in southern Illinois, both of my parents have medical problems, and my sister was diabetic, so you can kind of see my dilema. The office was very polite and so were the workers, but I didn't have much of a chance.

Overall Experience: Fairly Happy – So far my experience has been...fair, at least. I only visit the campus for two classes, my other three are online. And while I don't have that insane school pride, I do enjoy attending the festivities SIC offers its students. What really makes it unique though is the staff and faculty. No teacher is alike and each one can make their class relatively enjoyable.
