Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is pretty affordable in comparison to most community colleges. I don't think there is enough financial aid available, or at least not easily accessible.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition at SCC is decently priced. However, the books are very expensive. Typically, you'll need several books for one class. The usual class difficulty is about what I had expected. They're only slightly advanced from high school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid has been easy to work with. The only problem I had was I signed up for classes and got it approved by the enrollment specialist and had everything approved before classes started, unfortunately these classes I signed up for weren't categorized in a program seeking curriculum. Therefore, two days into the semester thinking everything was fine all of a sudden they just kicked me out of my classes. Financial aid hadn't paid due to the classification of classes, so the school hadn't been paid and then kicking me out of my courses. Granted it all fell on me, but everything had been good to go before the semester took place. The school didn't notify me of this, I was just dropped out of my classes. It became a very big hassle. Ultimately what I had to do was re-enroll in new classes to get in a program so the financial aid would kick in. I understand why they kicked me out of the classes, but I wasn't notified. There was no warning and completely changed everything including my books. It would have been nice to be notified before they did all this.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think that the education I am receiving is well worth the tuition I am paying. The financial aid office has been very helpful and easy to understand.

Tuition & Financial Aid: When i first thought of going to college i was afraid because i didn't know how i was going to pay for it but after completing my forms for financial aid, my fears were alleviated.
