Computers: Our campus could really use a few more labs that are open late at night. The cost of printing isn't bad but if you run out of money and you don't have a printer you are pretty much screwed. The network kinda sucks because in a few dorms you don't get wifi so you have to be plugged into the wall, which can be a hassle.

Campus Housing: I had the chance to live in the freshman dorms and the "nice dorms." The freshman dorms are what you would think they would be. They are small and community style and not always the cleanest but they have a great social atmosphere and I recommend living there to meet people and have more fun. The nice dorms are very spacious and you have a private bathroom which is always nice. Those dorms are usually suite style so you are sharing with three other people, but it isn't as bad as it sounds. We are not a wet campus, so the resident assistants are pretty strict on alcohol, but other than that they are mostly laid back and very helpful. Southeast's campus is rather small compared to many schools, so no matter where you live on campus you are usually only a 10 minute walk max from all your classes.

Weather: Missouri already has some crazy weather. It can be freezing one day and sixty the next. We really don't close often unless the weather is really bad and dangerous to be out in.

Off-Campus Dining: There are tons of places to eat around the campus and town. Most places give you some type of discount for being a semo student. The restaurants are average prices because most are chain places. We have a lot of fast food and fun little places like Burritoville that are only found in Cape Girardeau.

Local Atmosphere: Cape Girardeau has more things to do than people let on. There is a great main street right next to the river with a ton of shops and little cafes to eat at. Also, we have a mall, movie theater, and bowling alley. The students here love to go out to the bars, which are plentiful around here.

Transportation: The campus shuttles are an okay form of transportation if you have a lot of time in between your classes. They are usually late and there aren't enough pick up spots. But, some people do use them regularly and think they are great. It really depends on the person.

Computers: They have plenty of places where you can use computers. The only part that stinks with technology here is that our email is always breaking.

Academics: The work load here isn't all that hard at all. As long as you at least try, you'll do fine.

Campus Strictness: I pretty much agree with how strict our campus is on everything except parking. The parking rules and cost is ridiculous.

Greek Life: Greek life is a big thing on campus and if you want anything to so on the weekends, you should probably join.

3 College Freshman

Weather: We've had a lot of snow this year, so we've had to shut the campus down two different times, which apparently never happens.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: We have many international students and they are very well accepted y everybody.

Academics: The work load isn't hard.

Weather: Had class close down for two days because of ice, but besides that I love the weather here.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I wish we had more school spirit when it comes to sports.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: We have an abundance of international students, mostly from China.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I wish I could join one.

Health & Safety: We have a lot of DPS officers, they usually stay in their cars instead of walking around though.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: They are big on no alcohol in the dorms and you will get in trouble if caught.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I had to verify my fafsa for SEMO and it was the worst! But, everything ended up working out and I received grants and loans.

4 College Freshman

Computers: Besides the printing costs and the unreliable network, everything else is great.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There's really only one good place to go to for off-campus apartments, but of course it's extremely expensive unless you have three other roommates.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are student discounts at most off-campus places.

4 College Senior

Facilities: The library is great and has so many resources. There are so many activities you can get involved in including ministries, intramurals, Student Activity Council, Student Government, Greek Life, and groups pertaining to your major.
