South Texas College Reviews
Rating 3.99 out of 5 2,229 reviews
I've had a great experience with South Texas College! There is a limited number of things I can share to help others decide to attend because I am a dual credit student. I have only visited the Pecan Campus (nearest to me) once as a tour, but the professors are great. They are understanding and passionate about the subject they teach.
I enjoyed how it was a small campus and staff was extremely helpful when there was trouble. One of the things I had a troubling experience was with some not all of the professors and how they implemented the criteria but the overall experience was great and there were more pros then cons. Highly positive environment as well and would recommend giving this experience a try!
As a dual enrollment student pursuing my Associate in Arts at South Texas College, I appreciate its affordability and the unique opportunity it offers high school students to advance in their education. Despite being a small institution, it provides essential resources for success. While there are a few professors I wouldn't recommend, my overall experience at South Texas College has been positive. The extension of college programs to high school students demonstrates the institution's commitment to fostering educational advancement and creating a supportive environment for students to thrive.
