Academic Experience: I like a challenge and this semester is full of them. Recently i just started my Business Managemnt classes and betwen doing essays, homework, studying, pulling all nighters, having a job and volunteering, there isnt really any time for me. But in the end I know all these struggles will be worth it when I obtain my Bachelors Degree in Business Management in the Fall of 2016.

Academic Experience: Although I have already obtained my Associates Degree under Culinary arts, I returned again to obtain a Bachelor degree in Business. There are so many choices and career paths you can take at this school. They offer, classes in the weekend, summer, fall, and spring. Another positive note, they have so many activities going on year round. They do job fairs, Deaf awareness events, Plays in our new Theater building and they even have Cooking competitions.

Academic Flexibility: I like my school, it is okey.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Within books and internet access, my library was a perfect environment for these two access, it also gave me the opportunity to participate in certain study groups that led to the campus activities

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Great access within the internet access, super fast, great mobility within technology and finding sources online for certain projects.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Very well, not only will I graduate from high school, but also with a 2 year associates, once entering a university, I will be considered a sophomore student. I will be graduating with seventy plus hours within my college classes, most of what a senior can ever do.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I like the diversity in the school. Not only do you learn in class, but you learn from others as you walk to class.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Most students are known as hardworking students; they are usually above of average within their grades, they're always looking for extra credit, extra points to overcome the other students. Majority of them are well communicate students to their teachers, other colleagues, and themselves, they will try to reach the most they can, till overcome a top-score grade.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I took a college class of sociology online, it was more a book and student interaction; the teacher would grade us on how well we understood the concept from the book. The professor would give us exams and assignments to what we had read on the book and whats was going around in the world.

Academic Experience: Its I'm going to study under a engineering branch, my school had this organization that was named SHPE; where it focus ed on students who will study under the STEM careers. This organizations has helped me financially and mentally; giving me opportunities to have leadership and participation within school organizations.

Academic Experience: As I mentioned, an organization that led me to becoming a leadership and have great experiences within projects and events, was SHPE. I became president and vice-president the following year; it gave me the opportunity to leave my mark in my school, gave the motivation to always trying my best within my studies and my involvement.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: My first two years, were a little hectic because of high school courses and college classes were given to me; but after my sophomore year, school became a little easier because by the time I became a senior, I was only given three college classes, while my others were already passed and taken.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: We all can say that college is expensive, but here in this school, I've been very fortunate to not pay a single dime to my studies and books; everything within tuition fees, has been given and i'm very thankful for all the opportunities that this school has given me.

5 College Senior

Facilities: My school is known as an intelligent, quiet, well-perform students. Reason why is because majority of the students are very competitive, most students try their best within their studies so they can reach the tops from our class. Even though majority of the students are competitive, we still create study areas and study groups, so not to advance and receive good grades, but to advance and receive all as one.

4 College Senior

Career Services: It's actually pretty good, within post-grad services, it's a an early college high school, connected with South Texas College. Since there is a good connection between two services, it gave us the opportunity to have the best of both worlds

5 College Junior

STC's originality and distinguishing characteristics are what make it special. The students, professors, faculty, and staff are exceptional. The majority of the students at STC believe that the education they receive is something to cherish and appreciate. Don’t think that just because STC is not the most recognized college that it is not worth attending. Being a student at STC means you will receive one-on-one attention from professors and staff who have a genuine interest in your education and success.

One thing you do have to learn to embrace while attending STC is the heat. Students at STC sweat out each semester, but not just because of the tests. Although the buildings are very well air-conditioned, the temperatures in the Rio Grande Valley usually elevate up to 110 degrees throughout late spring, summer, and early fall. Regardless of the heat, most students learn to overcome it and eventually fall in love with STC because of its close-knit atmosphere and caring people. STC isn’t just a college you leave behind in two years. It is a place where you make lifelong friends, have unforgettable experiences, and obtain the knowledge that you need to succeed in life.
