5 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Student life on campus at SMCC is very much alive. The Student Government continuously organizes events throughout the day to create a sense of community and spirit amongst the alumni. Student athletes from different programs get along and are constantly grouping together in class and off campus.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: South Mountain Community College has provided an excellent experience these past two semesters. The instructors and tutors on campus do not give up on helping students that are struggling with their course work, and such support has not been easy to find in previous campuses.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: It is one your pace but meeting dead lines.

1 College Senior

Career Services: It is the worest, very careless!

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: The campus resource are Awesome!

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid is Awesome and very fast! No long lines when school starts.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Very small ceromony for students when they finish school.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Great teacher but horriable math teachers!

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The school doesn't offer much classes that I need.

3 College Senior

Student Body: It's Okay, Small campus, they do not offer much classes and no fitness class which is horriable! And they also don't have a football team!

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors are pretty cool and seem to try to help you out if you have trouble

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: I haven't seen anything about internships or help with jobs after you graduate

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is a community college so I didn't expect much. The tuition is cheap and I'll get an associates degree which is all I care about. I usually have a smooth time with financial aid but I know a lot of friends who have trouble. I think the key is to get everything done early.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes are not hard at all

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: It's average. There are plenty of people with the same major but since it's a community college everyone wants to get there to degree to transfer to get a bachelor's degree. I wanted to major in Early Childhood Education but since I plan on transferring it was more reasonable to major in Elementary Education. This seems to be the complaint of many students.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is now a public library, making it difficult for students to find an available computer, but the school also has a computer commons and a learning resource center full of computers and tutors.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Scheduling classes is easy for your main courses but for courses degree specific it gets difficult. The degree specific classes are usually at night and is hard for someone like me who would prefer to take day classes.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The career services always has available information on current job opportunities and are always there to help you obtain your job

3 College Junior

Student Body: I'm not very involved so I don't know how well they are

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The class had a good amount of students that were participating. The teacher explained course context with eases.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have not done an on-line course. I have used blackboard for some assignments.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: It hard for me to rate the program fairly based on the fact I just started this major for summer and summer runs at a shorter version than a regular semester.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are very helpful. they answer any questions asked. The advisor made it difficult to acquirer all the proper requirements need by a certain time.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The teacher work very well with students. I have had issue with different people working in advisors office.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is a community college so it is helpful so that a student can transfer.
