4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The class had a good amount of students that were participating. The teacher explained course context with eases.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have not done an on-line course. I have used blackboard for some assignments.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are very helpful. they answer any questions asked. The advisor made it difficult to acquirer all the proper requirements need by a certain time.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: It hard for me to rate the program fairly based on the fact I just started this major for summer and summer runs at a shorter version than a regular semester.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The teacher work very well with students. I have had issue with different people working in advisors office.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The college is okay but it is nothing spectacular.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is a community college so it is helpful so that a student can transfer.

3 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: I haven't looked into any alumni programs after graduating from this school

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All of the professors I have had were great at teaching and were also always available if I needed extra help.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm currently a psychology and yes, I do feel like I am learning what I need to at this college.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I took an online class over winter break, it was very easy! The class only lasted a month and I received the same amount of credit I would've gotten if I had taken it over the whole semester. I highly recommend you do this too.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm very pleased with the financial aid I'm receiving at this college. My first 2 semesters I had a scholarship which covered everything and now I'm receiving financial aid. It was extremely easy to apply for FAFSA.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I enjoy attending SMCC. My first semester here, my class schedule was scattered throughout the day but now that I'm on my last semester, I learned that the key is to register for classes early.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I have been attending South Mountain Community College ever since I was a sophomore in high school due to a scholarship I received called 'ACE'. Now that I have graduated from high school and still kept on attending South Mountain, things have been great! I received the presidential scholarship at South and this has helped me through my financial struggles. I love the small classes and the one on one communication with the teachers and the fact that they are so flexible and helpful for every student. Of course, I have many struggles such as trying to pass all my science classes this semester.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My school experience has varied between okay and bad. I am not sure if I would choose this school again of I could do everything all over. I know that I would have picked different classes than the ones I had chosen initially so I could either get different teachers or make it easier to accomplish the courses.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The online courses are average. Some classes should be avoided taking online such as Statistics.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It is best to register as early as possible as the class schedules can get scattered throughout the day.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Since is a small school everything is close by. You may have to wait a long time to meet an advisor because of the large student body in a small school.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Getting a computer at the computer lab isn't too difficult although there are times where it can be crowded. If the computer lab isn't available you can go to the nearby library and go on the computers. You will have to pay for printing if using the library computers.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Depending on where you live you probably won't need a car to get there.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The typical student body is no different than if you were at any other college. Due to the small nature of the school the amout of students hanging around varies from the day of the week and the time.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The academics that are offered vary from which teacher that you get. It is best to avoi certain teachers either due to workload or lack of teaching skill.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: There are some pamphlets at the student center that you can get for assistance and you can also talk to counselors.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is somewhat helpful though it could improve. The amount for books that you sometimes hardly ever use is ridiculous and it is better to order them somewhere else. The quality of education for the price varies from class to class.
