Off-Campus Housing: I live on campus so I have not experienced looking at off campus housing yet, but I hear you have to start looking as soon as possible and most housing is nice and close enough to campus to bike there

Off-Campus Housing: I have not applied for off campus housing so my review might not be the most accurate for this section but from what I have heard from my peers, the school is extremely helpful with finding students off campus housing. Houses are pretty close to campus. Most students will walk to campus if it is right across the street or ride a bike. The cost for off campus housing is less that on campus housing but on campus housing includes utility costs and really nice dorms that are more like town houses. The only downside for living off campus is that many neighbors raise concerns for living near college students. Sonoma State is in a suburban housing development and neighbors have complained about noise levels and will get the police involved if there is partying at late hours. Rohnert Park is a pretty safe neighborhood and I have never felt uncomfortable walking around the campus and neighborhood. There are police located on campus near the freshman dorms so I always felt safe.

Off-Campus Housing: Hard to find a good price for what's available.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I think that the dorms offered are overall good. They have enough space to be able to share a room with someone. I think that these are some of the best dorms I have seen. The only problem is the bugs. Through out the year we constantly had a silver fish problem. No matter how many times we called the housing office, this problem would not completely go away, even after we left the problem was still there. Because the campus is located in the middle of plain land, when it gets dark, it is really dark. I feel safe, but there are areas that should be lit more properly and more safety buttons located around the school.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: It's a nice little town for the most part its very peaceful. Housing off campus is pretty close to campus. And its a lot cheaper compared to living on campus plus freedom.
