Facilities: We have great facilities the campus is gorgeous and there is everything you could possibly need. The school focuses on being green so there is reclaimed water used and reclaimed wood for the recreation center it is all very eco friendly. As well as our performing arts center the Green Music Hall is considered to have the best sound in Northern California.

Scholarships: I could not get any financial aid or scholarships. I was offered a loan with an 8-10% interest rate from the school which I declined.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are usually pretty good but it is extremely difficult to get classes. Some professors are better than others and there isn't much room for variety. The education is good but you have to choose how much you care to put into it.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I think again it depends on the dedication you have to yourself. Receiving a degree from SSU is good but you have to put in the elbow grease to get your foot in the door. I wouldn't say the school has a great alumni relationship or relationship with companies but it is not looked down on.

Campus Dining: It was pretty bad when I was a freshman but the school has recently redone all of the dining options and they really are pretty amazing our cafeteria has many different ethnic options with great meal plans and the other dining options range from casual to nice.

Campus Housing: It really is amazing as a freshman you have four different building options all which are better than most dorms at other colleges. As an upperclassman you can apply to live in the upperclassman section which has two different building styles. Both have heated floors and private bathrooms. I have loved my experience living on campus.

Greek Life: I am in a sorority myself and while we do not have a huge greek system it is very tight knit. You get to know a lot of people and share a connection we hold a lot of events together so we are all pretty close. I have loved being in greek life and in a lot of ways it is the biggest thing on campus.

Off-Campus Dining: There are not a ton of places but the longer you go to school there you will find some diamonds in the rough. There is a great chinese place and sandwich place that all the students go to. Sift bakery that won cupcake wars 3rd season is about 15 minutes away so there are good food places. There is a enough fast food to have late night snacks, as well as they are constantly building new places around the school.

Athletics: We are not that big of a school so sports are not that great. We do not have a football team but our baseball team and women's soccer team are usually pretty competitive. I would say that our sports teams are not a huge part of campus life but our facilities are really nice and open to everyone.

Diversity: Sonoma State is not super diverse but there are different ethnicities. However I think it is important to note that even though it is not extremely diverse like San Francisco State there is no racism or any other harassment based on ethnicity the students are very open.

Majors: I believe that the business program is good in the sense that the program accomplishes its basic goal of teaching you how to be a business person but I feel that the teachers need some work and the passion is not really there. However the work load is manageable if you apply yourself and you will get out of it what you put in.

Majors: I wouldn't say that it is difficult. I did an internship with our wine business department and got paid 10 dollars an hour. I think it really depends on the company you want to work for and if you care if you get paid. I believe all the students who want internships receive one from one business or another.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I am not part of it but I see it around campus a lot

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I didn't get finacial aid the first time i signed up, and i did not sign up the second time and I did not receive any scholar ships yet

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Not like home cooked meals but I would say it is better then most campuses.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: we don't have a football team, but other sports are very popular and you hear about them often

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I live on campus so I have not experienced looking at off campus housing yet, but I hear you have to start looking as soon as possible and most housing is nice and close enough to campus to bike there

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: i am not 21 so I don't know much about it but i do know that there is a pub on campus for those want a drink or just something to eat.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: diversity i would say is good there are students from everywhere and everyone is so friendly

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: most students go outside of the town to do fun things but there is a few attractions around the school

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: lots of chain restaurants but most are easy to get to and different options for most students

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: some professors are not that great, but I have had other professors that have given me inspiration through their courses. class sizes are manageable, and classes are easy to feel comfortable to learn in.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They have many people at your need for questions in finding a career or what questions you might have for your future

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: price is just expensive but dorms are better then any other college I have seen
