5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Financial Aide is really on a case by case basis. For me personally the process went really well, but I know some people who did not have the same exact experience. Either way the Financial Aide Office has a really lovely staff, but that doesn't mean that everyone gets a full boat.

College Junior

Scholarships: I have not applied for financial aid because I was afraid of lowering my admission chances. According to most of my friends who receive financial aid, it seems pretty easy to get one. Even if you do not get the aid, you can always find campus jobs to get some extra money. However, do not expect to earn a lot to cover the tuition. The hourly rate at Smith is about $7-8.

Scholarships: It tends to be the biggest headache for your first-year, just trying to get all the required info together. After that I never had any trouble and my aid stayed consistent from year to year.

Scholarships: Overall they are really helpful with financial aid. You have to talk to people to make things work but there is funding.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Great finical aid. Smith is also great at awarding money for other things beside tuition as needed. Filling out the finical aid can be a little difficult.
