4 College Sophomore

Career Services: There are many different ways that the school helps you find work. While you're in college, they have a lot of job postings up usually through work study, but also to become a peer tutor. Most of the programs here require you to complete an internship, which helps you out in the long run.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: The students here are typically really nice to each other. It's been fun getting to know people here and some of my best friendships were formed here.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The workload isn't too much. I can get help from my classmates and my teachers if I need to. For my degree plan, it's required to have an internship before I graduate, which will make finding a job in the future easy.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The academics are good. The teachers push you to do your best, but they don't push you too hard. If you need help they'll be willing to help you out so you can get better grades. The registration process is very easy, and doesn't take too long. If you need help with the registration process, you can ask just about any teacher and they can lead you the right way.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are a lot of places to go to, to work on homework.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Welcoming classmates, easy workload. Cheap tuition

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The nursing program isn't too hard. The workload is okay and not too much to deal with. The instructors are very helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The instructors are very helpful and there a few hours after class. They also have a tutoring schedule. Class registration is very easy. You just meet with your advisors and they help you pick out your classes, so that the rest of your years will go by smoothly without any problems. Also, your advisor is the head of the program you are going into, so that is a huge plus.

Campus Resources: The library has a lot of resources for essays or anything you might need it for. The student center is okay. There is a tv, couches, and many other things to help make you comfortable. They try to get you involved a lot with different clubs.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are a lot of computer labs and accessibility to them is good. You can print as much as you would like without having to pay for the papers. The wireless is great, haven't had any difficulties with it. They also have laptops that you can rent for about a week and rerent if there is no one on the waiting list.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online classes. All my classes were within the classroom. But to describe the classrooms and classmates, they were pretty small. The instructors know almost everyone in the classes. They are small classes, so you know your peers. You get to have one on one with the instructor, if need be.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: There are many people that have graduated from SBC and went on to get good jobs within the tribe and other places.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition was inexpensive compared to other colleges. There are many scholarships available to students and Sitting Bull College almost any scholarship.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: One thing would be the view of the northern plains.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My class schedules were alright. Some days I could make it to important things that needed to be done and other days I couldn't. Instructors are pretty flexible about not being able to make it to class. It all depends on the instructor.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The student body at Sitting Bull College consists mostly of residents that live around the area. Everyone is pretty accepting of others and it is somewhat challenging.

3 College Student

Student Body: The student body at Sitting Bull College mostly consists of local residents that live in Fort Yates, and students travel from the surrounding districts to the college for classes so they can achieve an education for future employment opportunities. The majority of students are enrolled members of Standing Rock, and are native American, there are very little non natives that attend Sitting Bull College.

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: Sitting Bull College is a tribal college that is located on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, in Fort Yates, North Dakota. It offers associates and bachelor degrees only. The student body that the college consists of is local people that reside in Fort Yates and surrounding districts.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: It is a tribal college and with that comes the uniqueness of being engulfed by americas history. I don't mean americans history, I mean the history of the land and how it was used correctly with pride and kindness.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I moved 1000 miles away to attend this college and I do not regret any choice in doing so. The financial aid is excellent and leaves me without student loans if I try hard enough to get scholarships to cover me. I see it as the diamond in the rough.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The main perk is the library, where I spend most of my extra time. There is no gymnasium or lunch room. They do however offer a small student lounge.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The network is average. At some moments there is absolutely no network connection, leaving some students without internet. There are frequent dropouts as well. There is however a great tech staff that responds to problems.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am majoring in environmental science, I met all the staff in that department and I think it is a good program as well as others.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: They have only so many majors but registration is easy and they have a number of tutors for help. The instructors are also very hands on and offer help at any time if needed

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It's easy to work your class schedule around work if it is needed
