College Freshman

Health & Safety: I can't really rate anything involved with safety or health because I haven't experienced anything with either.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus, but it seems like it's your average resident life.

3 College Freshman

Parking: It's $80 to get a permit which seems a little ridiculous. Tickets are easy to appeal and usually just turn into warnings.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There's many different people who come here. We have some students all the way from China.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: As a Christian university, we all have to sign a contract saying we won't drink or do drugs.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Simpson does a great job at coming up with fun and appropriate activities for all students, commuters and residents alike.

4 College Freshman

Weather: I love the heat. Redding gets so hot in the summer and it's my favorite time of the year.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: We have a beautiful lake for summer activities, and Mt. Shasta isn't too far away for winter activities like snowboarding.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: As Christians, we all have a genuinely nice and approachable personality.

College Freshman

Greek Life: We don't have fraternities or sororities. We have clubs but that's about it.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Our music department is absolutely incredible. All of the professors are intelligent and willing to help. They are all super helpful with finding jobs/careers after college.

4 College Freshman

Academics: All of the classes are helpful and the professors are smart in their field of study.

College Freshman

Transportation: We have a very small campus, so it would be absolutely pointless to drive to the other side of campus.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I've lived in Redding my whole life and still haven't visited all of the restaurants in town. I go to many different ones and don't have a select few that I return to all of the time.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The trainer is never here, the weight room is super small, the gym is used for too many purposes

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is quite a bit of asians

1 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The school tries there very hardest to keep you on campus

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Some people don't even realize that weed and alcohol find their way on campus sometimes. It is very rare and secretive. There are very strict rule against it.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is pretty lovely :)

College Sophomore

Transportation: I am not really aware of the public transpiration options, besides the bus, in the area

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics are honestly nothing that special here. I believe that if our athletics grow then our school would grow. School spirit is kind of lacking too.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Permit costs are a bit expensive. The ticket fines are do-able. It is nice to have a car on campus because there is more to do off-campus. Parking spaces full up fast so it is always a treat when you find a spot close to your dorm.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: There are a lot of Bible majors, Music majors, Psychology Majors, Nursing Majors, Business Majors, and Communications majors. the professors are fantastic and are totally there for the students. The work load isn't too bad. Popular study areas include the library, the Bean Scene, or the lobbies of each dorm.

College Sophomore

Majors: I have not experienced an internship here

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I am in the nursing program. It is a lot of hard work but so far it is well worth it. I am in my first semester and I have four more to go. I am fairly confident I will find a job once I get out of school.
