3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Indianola is a small town, so there isn't much to be expected in terms of a bustling night life. However, Des Moines is close enough that it makes up for the lack of entertainment in Indianola.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There are some shops located nearby, an autoparts store, both a verizon and a us cellular, and walmart. There are lots of restaurants to choose from. The area is fairly safe because it is in a small town. There is a lot of things to do almost everyday because of student organizations and groups. It is also located very closely to Des Moines and offers transportation to and from the malls.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Indianola feels like home. Everyone is friendly!

3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: Indianola is very small with a Walmart and a couple of fast food places. Luckily, it is right near Des Moines so as long as you have a car it is difficult to get too bored here.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There is not much to do in Indianola, but Des Moines is very close with many attractions. Simpson tries to put on events for the students on weekends as well, so there are things to do. Also, late movies are cheap for students on the weekends, which is nice.
