Guys & Girls: Everyone pretty much has there own style at the Silver lake Holy Family. you can expect to see all kinds of race that get along great with each other. Students have the same interest in sports and enjoy helping others with difficult task. As a transfer student I get along with people fine.

Parking: Parking on campus is really good and free for everyone. Always has available spots right in front of school and all over the parking lot. Also, I know for sure my car is safe. A car is well needed on campus if you don't want to be stuck on campus all day.

Athletics: Varsity sports at Silver Lake college help get everyone connected and play a big role in keeping everyone active. Being able to communicate with new students and attend sporting events is a great way to build new relationships for the future. It gives everyone of all interests a chance to get together and play sports.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: their aren't really drug abusers at the school, if students are involved in drugs it usually takes place off campus seeing that school drug policies are very strict.

3 College Junior

Academics: some professors really know their info and what they are teaching, while others may seem a little confused on what their position of teaching students actually is.

3 College Junior

Facilities: it is a nice and fairly new building for the most part. Everything is connected so the oldest part of the building is the school. Cleaned on a daily during the school year.

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: they are strict on everything, its not often that one gets away with breaking rules.

3 College Junior

Facilities: housing is great, while classrooms are sub-par. Library is big and filled with books.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: There are the average girls at the school and very few boys.

3 College Freshman

Academics: The teachers are solid and very through in their knowledge. They are alos open to speaking with students on improvement. while in encouraging lifetime learning

2 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The food is filled with fats because it is processed and the tastes is slightly off they are not really open to student suggestiojn

2 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Constanly go back on there word and need to stand up for policy when it counts more often than not

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The guys are just juiced on sports and think life revolves around them douches. They are average
Then they are down right vile with cleaning and decency The are very limited and catty but friends are easy to come by and lose. Slutty

Weather: When the schol year starts it very brisk because of the slight cool down of fall so it is perfect weather. Though the school is close to the lake front so the winter months are sketchy at best with sleet hail and a lot of snow. Then ther is th lake effect of silver lake it self so much water builds up there is the problom of pest

Diversity: Silver Lake College is renowned for students coming from all over the world to get degrees and become Sisters of the Franciscan Charity. Examples this semester include women from Japan and Nigeria. Many students also receive sport scholarships causing to have a very high number of African American students coming from all over the state.

Diversity: Greek Life on Campus – Greek life really does not exist at Silver Lake College.

Overall Experience: I have greatly enjoyed my experience with the College.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: Awful Enforcement – The schol does not enforce any tickets or fines when a vehiclel does not have a Silver Lake College Pass. They only have a security person to say that they have it so others feel safe before entering the school.

5 College Junior

Parking: Parking on campus is free to students attending the college as well as for any visitors that are coming to the college. For students they just have to get a parking permit that can be obtained by the head of security who is on campus from 9am to 3 pm. There is plenty of parking for everyone so it doesn't take long to find a spot at all.

Scholarships: Very Easy Process – I received at total of $12,000 in scholarship for good grades and for music. All I had to do is participate in two music ensembles and keep up my grades throughout the semester and that is very easy to do. The financial aid office also prints out scholarship bulletins and puts them in the hallway for students to take at their convenience.

Campus Strictness: Overall SLC is a pretty strict school over they do little to enforce the rules and policies that they have implemented in the guidebook. Students have parties in the dorms even through our campus is a dry campus, the RA's don't solve problems properly, and the head of resident life doesn't really help out in matters that need to be addressed! I just feel that the school could do better to keep things running a bit more smoothly since there are always fights breaking out on the different floors.

Academics: You Get What You Put Into It. Through my time at SLC I have come to find school to be rather easy. The professors assign work on a daily schedule that allows you to compete it in a timely manner and any project that we are assigned we are given time in class to work on it. I like to work on homework in my room as I listen to music and work on homework with friends. This process works for me, however some students utilize the quiet study and others use the library to complete their work. The registration process is easy at the school as well. You meet with your adviser and talk about what classes you have to take still for your major and then figure out the classes that will fit into your schedule the next semester of school. From there the student goes onto campus web and registers for their classes on their own that takes five minutes tops to complete.

Academics: Family Oriented – I have been at Silver Lake College now two years and I am very happy with my experience. The teachers in the Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education Department are amazing. They answer any questions that you may have via email, phone, or in person. They make themselves available to their students for questions or help on homework. My adviser also makes sure to help me set up my clinics and observations that I have to complete for that semester and is there to help me anyway that I may need it. The curriculum is rather easy for me thus far, however gives me the knowledge and skills I need to learn to earn my degree. Not only that, but the school also integrates a liberal arts curriculum that makes us knowledgeable in various aspects and allows us to broaden our studies.

Athletics: i give silver lake college an A+ because for it being a small private school our basketball teams are Farley good, we also have a golf team, soccer team and cross country.
