3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Seems to be typical college strictness

2 College Senior

Transportation: Besides TART, which is not always the best option. There really is no other option for public transportation.

Campus Housing: Four words--own bathroom. Heated Floors.

Drug Safety: Pot is big, Adderall is big, drinking is big, it is a small town and people do these things--if you don't like it it isn't like someone is going to have the whole party chanting your name or anything/

Local Atmosphere: Nature has to be your thing to live in Incline but Tahoe is amazing!
Most of the locals here are rich and have more than one home so they don't really have an opinion on the college students. There isn't a whole lot going on in Incline but Reno and South Lake are right down the road and have a lot going on.

Academics: Small classes-easy office hours-email responses and NO TA's, only professors.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: This is a school for certain majors, people who complain should go to a bigger school with more options. We like to joke and call SNC "a designer education"

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Unless you know people who know people there is no way to party.
No clubs and all the bars are hard to get into without any ID.
When you do know people who party though there are often parties multiple times a week and at pretty consistent houses.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Small school--small selection.
Sodexo sucks but hey! salad bar!

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Eh. When you go to a school as expensive as SNC you have to finagle a lot of aid but if you work hard and give enough headaches to the financial aid ladies they usually "find" more aid for you.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My first year was AMAZING. I have since taken some time off and come back to a different environment but it still seems to be a good school and the faculty are still amazing.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: The facilities are great. Dorms have heated floors and their own bathrooms, the library is designed like a ski lodge, the dining hall is nice and clean and we have a Platinum LEED certified science building.
The school is in great shape and a super nice atmosphere.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: You have to have your own computer but for the most part it is super easy to get printers installed and any tech help

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: There was never a need for security until we got a lacrosse team and after a pretty bad fight there is 24/7 security.
If former residents have been trespassed from the dorms they are super strict about getting them out. For the most part if you respect the RA's they will help you out but the minute you do something to piss them off they will target you.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There are a lot more guys than girls and most students are more into their snowboard and ski gear then everyday fashion though that is changing a little bit.
No one wear pajamas or sweatpants to class but the only people who dress up daily are on the ski team

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: its very strict for a reason, when kids leave there parents for a while they go crazy

3 College Junior

Athletics: we just got an lacrosse team

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: its ok , its in a little town so what do u expect.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Ive never been to a place where finding a teacher and getting to talk to them so easy. Its a very small campus the way i like it. i wouldn't switch schools, this school along with everyone here has helped me out in so many ways.

3 College Junior

Facilities: a bunch of pot heads to me

4 College Junior

Facilities: Sierra nevada college has the biggest art program, we just got a new building for the whole art/ music program.

2 College Junior

Diversity: Is diversity Europeans and white Americas? then yes this school is, but if no then no the diversity here is very poor.

3 College Junior

Weather: most students come here for the weather.. snow, sun, and snow!

5 College Junior

Academics: if you keep your grades up, and know the right people you are golden here.
