College Junior

Career Services: Since I haven't graduated from Sierra College, I'm not sure how their post-grad services are. I do believe they truly want you to find a job with your degree and are there to help if you need it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition isn't horrible. It's a lot better than going to a university. Financial aid is decent. They do try to help you but my only complaint is the amount of time it takes to speak to them. I was on hold for 30 minutes when I tried to contact them.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Everyone is great here at Sierra! It's like a big community all willing to help each other.

Facilities: I enjoy all of the nature on our campus. There are plenty of beautiful places to sit and nice trails to run on. We have a mix of old and new buildings, but it's about half and half.

Online Courses: I think online classes are difficult to stay motivated in, but they may work better for certain personality types or lifestyles. Personally, I found it very challenging to stay engaged Ina class where I essentially taught myself. The software that we used was helpful because if was interactive, but it still lacked the human interaction that seems to kick start learning like nothing else can.

Student Body: I really like the type of people that attend Sierra College. They are typically very hard-working, and care a lot about their education because they usually pay for it themselves. Also, there's a good amount of diversity here: young and older age groups, different ethnicities, and various majors.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The longer you attend the school, the more priority you get with classes, which makes for a much more convenient schedule. They have a good range of class times and they're usually either Monday/Wednesday, or Tuesday/Thursday.

3 College Senior

Career Services: They do their best to make connections with people, but it's a difficult task considering the job market and the area we live in. Most interning and job opportunities are in Sacramento, not Roseville and Rocklin.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am not eligible for financial aid, but I've heard many complaints about how confusing the paperwork is. I've also heard that some students abuse finanancial aid.

Campus Resources: For a community college, I think they do a decent job. The Health Center is actually quite helpful. It's very easy to get help with medical and psychological issues. The student leadership tries, but it's difficult to get people involved when the environment is more about working hard than feeling a sense of community.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: They have a pretty nice computer lab that has b&w printing for 9 cents a page. The wifi is very spotty though.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid process was somewhat drawn out but after first semester was quick and easy.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Very resourceful in every aspect

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Always accessible for your convenience

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Can always find something to utilize

Student Body: Most students seem not to care
