4 College Sophomore

Athletics: We have great team spirit and support throughout the campus.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: I think the nightife is perfect. There is stuff to do but nothing is forced upon anyone. It's a comfortable environment for everyone. Parties are big because there's usually only one a night. Tony's is a good place to go with friends and dance and have a good time.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am apart of Greek Life and it has been the best thing I have ever done. I love it so much. We know everyone in the different chapters and are friends with everyone. Everyone is proud of their letters and wear them proudly almost everyday. Non-greeks think everyone is in it for the parties and the social aspect but it is so much more than that.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Complete the forms early and get them out of the way. It's long but just do them because you can receive money

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Although a lot of people are involved with drinking, it's more of a social able thing than a pressured time. It is used a lot but I do not believe it's out of hand. There are rules in dorms but it doesn't seemed to be too enforced.

2 College Freshman

Computers: The wireless is awful. It's very slow. I use my own laptop and printer because it costs too much to print in the library and sometimes there's no computers open so it's just more convenient.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have never looked at living off-campus but I have heard stories but not enough to write a review.

3 College Freshman

Weather: When it's cold, it's not fun because we only have one pan tran so it's inconvenient because things are far from each other. When it's nice out, its very enjoyable and peaceful

3 College Junior

Academics: Classes are challenging, but some of them are flat out hard and impossible to pass the first time through.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: It's such a pain, but I do end up getting my money before it really matters. Many of my friends have more difficulty than I do.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: I love the town and feel like there is a lot of places to go and things to do in the area. Also, it is very historically rich.

3 College Junior

Majors: I feel that my experience is fairly average. I haven't encountered many problems except for weird juncture dates that I don't find out about until late.

3 College Junior

Majors: I'm fairly pleased with my program. I have second-thought, but I am worried about finding a job and excelling after college.

4 College Junior

Weather: Sometimes, they call off school when there isn't much snow. This makes sense because so much of our school is commuters.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I use counseling services on campus. I could talk up those ladies all day long. Also, the campus police are generally wonderful and very easy to talk to.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: As a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, a professional women's music fraternity, I am proud of most of the Greek Life on campus and know that it's not all about the parties.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I feel that there is just enough strictness to feel safe on campus. Parking strictness is a little intense, though.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: You can avoid the alcohol and drugs on campus, but they are pretty popular on campus.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I love eating off campus at places like Blue Moon, Maria's, China Kitchen, and Domestic!

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I've always been really satisfied with Campus housing. I have spent all my college years living on campus and am planning on spending next year in the on-campus apartments.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know much about off-campus housing. Although I have many friends who live off-campus, I don't have much information on how difficult it is to actually go through the process of acquiring such housing.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are people of all different ethnicity at Shepherd but I would not really call the campus diverse. Most people that go to school there are from the same area.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Shepherdstown is a gorgeous area. The school is right next to the river. There are plenty of parks and lots of trees. It is a beautiful area to be in. The town has a bunch of nice shops and local restaurants.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It's not too bad. You just follow the FAFSA website and get it sent in to Shepherd. Everything gets taken care of pretty easily as long as you get it in to the school.

4 College Junior

Majors: Teachers of your majors are incredibly encouraging and knowledgeable, and do an excellent job of preparing us for the "real world."
