Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Seattle Pacific University is unique. Students do not have to fit a specific prototype to find their experience rewarding and worthwhile. While SPU does not boast a particularly diverse student body, the education and experience offered truly could accommodate one. For those who seek spiritual growth, there are loads of activities and classes to nurture their souls. For those who aren’t interested, a few Christian scripture classes with surprisingly open-minded professors will suffice. Unlike many religiously-affiliated universities, SPU does not have mandatory chapel services.

Scholarships are distributed generously, which means it won’t take a miracle to finance school if the attendee is comfortable with moderate school loans upon graduation. Plus, students can complete their degree in four years—no sweat. For students who desire a close-knit community, small class sizes and on-campus housing are available and ready to smother them with warm fuzzies. For the more independent, adventurous type, there is a bustling city full of character to be explored—just a walk or bus ride away. Whatever activity or subculture is not represented on campus, it can surely be found in Seattle. As a whole, Seattle Pacific University and Seattle are extraordinarily thoughtful communities, as they both rub off on each other in many ways, leaving a permanent but beautiful mark on all of those who come in contact with them.

Guys & Girls: Everyone is friendly. Not much racial diversity but it's fun.

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't really tried that hard to look for off campus yet so I can't be of much help

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: THere are very few guys and the ones that are here most of them are hipsters. I will say that the guys here have a sense of community between themselves that I haven't seen before which is really cool. It's really nice to have them in class because of the different perspective they give.

Scholarships: It's pretty easy to apply its just hard to find more than what they give you. This school is so expensive and even with all the aid its hard to make ends meet.
