Facts & Statistics

Tips for Getting In
  • Be a well-rounded student, meaning you have extracurricular activities on your resume in addition to good grades.
  • Have a good GPA in high school.
  • Stay in touch with an admissions counselor.
Interviews & Information Sessions
Prospective students can schedule counselor appointments or interviews where prospies can ask questions, take notes, and get the counselor's contact information so they can stay in touch.
Campus Tours
Current SPU students and staff provide prospective students tours of the campus. Prospies have the chance to ask questions while walking through buildings, dorms, and other gathering places. While the tour does not cover every building on campus, prospective students can ask about specific buildings that are important to them.
Overnight Visits
It is possible for students to stay overnight in the residence halls. To schedule a visit, it's best to contact Admissions at least two weeks ahead of time. Call (800) 366-3344.
