3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is very helpful but the school's tuition is expensive and they don't give out scholarships easily. The education is great though, I've learned a lot. Advice for earning more financial aid: Don't hesitate to meet with your financial aid advisor to discuss anything. You can also write to appeal to the college for more financial aid if you think you deserve it.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I believe that I am getting a great education from School of Visual Arts, however I feel as though there should be more financial aid available. The financial aid that is offered to students is not expressed successfully to students meaning students would have to dig hard through SVA to find those scholarships or grant. I was surprised that there were little to no scholarships offered to student who are African American or Black.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My financial aid adviser has been endlessly helpful in assisting me, even with private loans which were outside of her jurisdiction. She has always broken the otherwise overwhelming process down to understandable and manageable chunks, and I'm always able to talk to someone if I swing by even without making an advance appointment.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I've been waiting for a call back for over a week. Have left a few messages for them to call back.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Most classes you learn a lot and make the tuition reasonable compared to an education elsewhere. However, some classes are just plain useless and teach you information you either already know or you could learn off the internet.
