They must have a degree from a Maryland college or from any law school, or certification from the Maryland State Department of Education. Applicants must also have college loans on which they have not defaulted, and each person's annual gross salary must be under $60,000. Applicants must work in one of the following positions: lawyers, teachers, nurses, nurse faculty members, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, speech pathologists or physician assistants.
