3 College Senior

Student Body: IF you study and pay attention in class and study you do fine

Tuition & Financial Aid: The money for this school is outrageous!! I would not recommend it to anybody and the staff is not helpful.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I choose this school because it has a 18 month associates degree

Campus Resources: The library has a number of working computers and other resources available to use at our disposal. There is plenty of room to work on assignments. It's tidy and the books are orderly. The campus does have activities but I haven't had the opportunity to take part in any as of yet. The student lounge area is where the students go before class and between classes. You can purchase water, coffee, juice, soda and snacks from the machines or bring your food from home (you can store your food in the refrigerator and warm it up in the microwave) this area is ALWAYS clean.

Academic Experience: I'm a medical assistant major, and my classes are much more than I expected thus far. The instructors are awesome and I enjoy attending class every night. The workload is not overwhelming, the curriculum is giving me all the information and tools I need in order to be successful in this field.

Student Body: SBI- Melville is a diverse environment. There are students who are recent high school graduates, stay-at-home moms looking to earn a certification or degree in preparation for entering the work field, people looking to continue their education, or change their career path and etc. There are a few students that are not quite ready for the college atmosphere, instead of walking in to a professional learning environment at times I feel I'm attending public school all over again. Besides, that small group SBI, is great.

Tuition & Financial Aid: A bit pricey but in order to succeed you need education.

Academic Experience: Professors are more involved with students. They are very helpful and willing to help.

College Junior

Academic Experience: Im in Medical Assistant program and I look forward to only take classes that are needed.

College Junior

Academic Experience: itIts my first year at SBI recruiters were very helpful and im looking forward a great year.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: The professors try to be nice, but since this school is heavily research-oriented, most professors seem to consider teaching a secondary job. This shows in their lack of enthusiasm toward their classes. I've visited other colleges and have seen a higher number of professors who can teach in a way that helps students understand. In our professors' defense, there are some who do try and have interesting and challenging courses.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Network Is Good. As student was get our own WiFi network. Every classroom has a computer so the student may use.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: One on One Interaction With Students. My school always provide one on one interaction with the students. Our classroom are a small size, so we have more opportunity to speak with the professor.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Facilities Is a Good Environment for the Student – The facilities is a good environment. We have a good size library. Our student lounge is very well decorated and inviting to the students.

College Junior

Career Services: Cant Say Just Yet – I do know the services are available. I have had no reason to use them as of yet so I can not give a fair rating on this topic. (yet)

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: So Far So Good – I like my school over all. I am getting what i paid for. The classes are things that will be used in the medical field. The professors are currently or recent in the field not just someone reading from a text book

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: You Get What You Pay for – I think the tuition is a bit pricy. The financial aid process was simple. My FAA went over all of my options and was/is always available when I call her. She has reached out to me via phone to advise me of changes on my account.
